More and more people are choosing to attend university these days. While some believe that the only value of a university degree is to boost career chances, others believe that society and individuals benefit in a variety of ways.
It is certainly true that one of the main aims of university is to secure a better job.The majority of people desire to better their job chances in the future, and attending university is one of the finest methods to accomplish so because it increases a person's marketable abilities and attractiveness to potential employers. Furthermore, because higher education is costly for many persons, most would not choose it unless it would give them with a more secure future and a greater standard of life. As a result, job prospects are critical.
However, it also benefits individuals and society. Going to college means we have to live on our own, it will help us a lot in strengthening our social and personal skills.When we go to college we will no longer live at home, but instead live in a dormitory and meet new friends. From there, we will grow up, be more confident and have a more fulfilling life.
Therefore, I believe that although a main aim of university education is to get the best job, there are clearly further benefits. If we continue to promote and encourage university attendance, it will lead to a better future for individuals and society.
