Some people say that allowing children to make daily decisions will lead to a society full of selfish individualists, while others maintain that it is necessary for children to make their own decisions about issues that affect them. I agree with the first point of view since allowing youngsters to make decisions on basic topics may encourage them to become self-centered.

First of all, empowering children to make choices in their daily lives hones their decision-making skills. The reason is that if they don't weigh their options carefully and make the right decisions, there will be consequences. Children who eat ice cream every day, for example, may gain weight and be ridiculed by their friends. As a result, they learn the significance of choosing long-term health over pleasure. However, I do not believe that this is a good way to help children improve their decision-making abilities because they are too young to deal with consequences of their bad decisions.

Secondly , satisfying all of a child's daily wishes may lead to the development of a selfish habit. This is because, if individuals are free to eat or wear whatever they want on a daily basis, they may grow accustomed to overlooking other people's preferences when making decisions. As kids get older, they will continue to practice this behavior, resulting in a selfish society. I agree with your statement since I've seen some second-generation wealthy children reared in this manner who have grown up to be highly self-centered adults.

In conclusion, while allowing children to make decisions on routine matters may help them become better decision-makers, I believe this is more likely to lead to their developing the habit of selfishness, resulting in a society of self-centered individuals.
