Ryder's PoV:
I wondered through the hall with a sigh. I never had thought that I'd be this depressed over one female in my life. Damn her for doing this to me! For doing this to you? My wolf snorted. What the hell is that suppose to mean?! He let out a small growl. You did this to her and now you're too late. She found another mate that treats her better and now we're going to die! He screamed at me before going silent. Great... Now even my wolf is against me too now. I saw a bouncing blonde come down the hall with a huge smile on her face.
"Alpha, oh alpha!" She sung as she came closer.
I couldn't stop myself from rolling my eyes. I really didn't like her at all. It's a wonder why I hadn't kicked her out of my pack yet.
"What is it Sammie?" I asked, putting on a fake smile.
Huh... I was doing that a lot now actually.
"Ohh I have to most wonderful news!" She squealed.
God I could have rung her neck if she wasn't a girl. I motioned for her to keep going.
"Come with me kay?" She grinned, taking my hand.
It felt wrong... No, wronger than wrong. Damn it Faith! Sammie had dragged me out into the garden. My eyes went wide as I saw every femme from a mile away there and by the smell, each were unmated. Yeah this is what I needed alright, note the sarcasm.
"I heard that you were having some mating issues sooo I decided to help out a bit." Sammie cheered.
I groaned inwardly but pulled on a smile.
"Why thank you Sammie, this is just what I needed." I lied through my teeth.
As soon as I looked up from her I saw the hundreds of femmes looking at me. More like lusting actually. I might have been used to it before but now? It was plain creepy. That was when a brunette made her way to me, swaying her hips a bit too much. She was trying far too hard.
"Hey Alpha." I heard her purr.
Why me?!
"Hey." I replied with a half smile.
She ran her fingers through the thick mane of hair and smiled seductively.
"So, I hear you need a mate eh?" She said as she took a half-step closer.
Her scent made my nose burn and closeness made my skin crawl. Definately not my mate... My nose scrunched up and I backed away slightly. This was going to kill me!
Faith's Pov:
I sat in the clearing, relaxing in the warm sun. I loved this spot since the day I found it. My attention turned to the snap of a twig. I sat up with a growl and I scanned the trees. One by one I heard twigs snapping in every direction. I stood and turned as I looked through the trees. Rogues? Hunters? I couldn't pick up a scent and it was driving me nuts! I felt a sharp prick in the back of my neck and yelped. My hand went to it and pulled out a small silvery pin. That's when my legs began feeling like jelly. This wasn't looking good at all... I couldn't shift and I was getting dizzier by the second. And with that I collapsed like a sack of potatos then everything went black.
I woke up feeling numb and a bit dizzy. I saw that I was in a dark room that was freezing. It didn't bother me that much but it slightly hurt. I wriggled around a bit to find I was tied up. That's when I noticed something that made me panic even more, I couldn't feel my wolf! That meant I couldn't link to Alec and the others. I was officially a dead dog... Well, wolf. I saw the door open and a black haired girl stepped in.
