Alec:

I watched her writhe in pain as Allison stitched her up. My angel.. It hurt to see her this way but we had to keep her awake now seeing she only reawoke less than an hour ago. Sure, Allison had drugged her more than once but it had little effect. I began feeling her pain. Dull but still there. Soon Allison finished stitching the bite and Faith relaxed, giving off small pants.

"Alec..." She called out weakly.

I took to her side quickly and softly stroked her pale cheek.

"Yes angel?" I murmured.

Her beautiful light blue eyes shimmered slightly as she glance up at me. "I love you Alec.." she whispered, resting her head against my hand. I couldn't stop my smile even if I wanted to. "I love you too my angel, I love you too." I said, kissing her head. "Alec, move aside for a moment." Allison said, holding a needle in her hand. Reluctantly I did so, watching her inject a pink liquid in the I.V. "What's that?" I asked. "Something to take away the pain. Might put her to sleep since she's just that weak. Anywho, make sure she eats at least a bit while resting." She replied, starting out of the room. She stopped and turned around. "And Alec?" She asked. I looked up at her. "No mating while she heals!" She laughed, walking out. I rolled my eyes and climbed in bed with Faith. I was thankful that my room was the second closest to the stairs now. "Come here angel." I said, opening my arms. She eased herself closer and cuddled into my side.

"Alec?" She whispered. I looked down at her.

"I'm sorry..." She said. "For what?" I asked in confusion.

"Everything..." she answered.

I felt a warm wetness against my bare side. She was crying?

"Angel, look at me." I said, lightly holding her chin.

Her eyes fixed on the blanket.

"Look at me." I repeated.

She hesitated at first but did.

"What are you sorry for?" I asked, wiping away a tear.

"If I never would've challeneged Ryder we wouldn't be in this mess." She said.

I gave out a sigh.

"Angel, don't be sorry. You only did what you thought was right." I replied, kiseing her temple.

She only shook her head, burrying her face in my side. I gave a frown. I felt so sorry for her. Not only had she been hurt but she felt it was all her fault... It saddened me.

"Faith... Don't feel like it's all your fault." I said.

She simply glances up at me, eyes pink and puffy.

"Don't tell me it's not my fault Alec. It is and you know it!" She yelled.

I let out a sigh and carefully climbed out of bed.

"Where are you going?" She asked.

"For a run." I said, kissing her forehead and walking out.

I needed to get out of here. I needed to run.

"I'll be back..." I said, walking out.

Faith:

I curled up the best I could and sighed. This pack was going to go to the dogs...Literally... Until I'm fully healed I can't take charge and I can't allow competitions. This was hell!

"Fay? You up?" Dominic called from the door way.

I glanced up at him.

"Yeah.." I siighed.

A smile crossed his face.

"Glad you're okay Faith. " He said, stepping in and shutting the door. I just nodded.

Something was off... But, what? I examined him over and over but still couldn't figure it out. My wolf had begun feeling uneasy. I unnoticably drew in a breath, trying to catch a scent.... Nothing? I breathed in harder.

"If you're trying to catch my scent Faith, it won't do you any good."

My heart gave a hard thud. His voice, it..Changed! Before my very eyes Dominic's skin paled and hair sprouted, long and white. His face shifted. Beatutiful but all too scary... I knew this new figure... But how? A harsh chuckle ripped through the air.

"What's wrong Faith? You don't remember me?" He said.

My brows drew together.

"Who are you? What do you want?" I asked.

A smirk crossed his lips.

"Giddeon my darling, Giddeon. And what I want Faith, is that glorious fur of yours." He mused, stepping closer.

I growled lowly.

"Who the hell do you think you are?!" I snapped.

He gave another laugh.

"Faith.... Cute little Faith, I think I'm Lord Kegan's  second-in-comand.  He wishes to have the mother's daughter." He smiled.

I stared at him. Lord Kegan? That's the bastard that killed her?! I couldn't prevent the snarl that ripper though my throat.

"Well, Lord Kegan  can shove his orers up his ass!" I snapped.

Giddeon started at me, the amusement clearly showing.

"Ah you silly little mutt. Lord Kegan won't  simply allow you to go free," He chuckled, coming closer.

I tried to shift but nothing came. Nothing! The drugs that Allison had injected me with had prevented this.

"You're going to come with me now mutt."Giddeon said, pulling her over his shoulder.

Sucked in a sharp breath as the stiches in her side pulled.

"Alec!" I screamed. Giddeon laughed lightly.

"Go ahead and scream. They can hear you." he said, carrying her out. She tried to trash about but had been too weak to do anything damaging.

Giddeon smacked her head off of the door frame, making her yelp.

"You couldn't be more gentle?!" She yelled. Growled lowly.

"Shut up!" He yelled taking off.
