Faith's Pov:

I curled up slightly in a room, stitches throbbing hard. My wolf still hadn't fully came back thanks to the strong drugs. A knock sounded.

"Miss Faith?" A voice  called sweetly as the door slowly began to open.

I let out a small growl.

"Don't you dare come in here blood sucker." I snapped.

The door simply opened wide, exposing a tall, teen.

"It's alright Miss Faith. Do not be scared." He said.

 I stared at him blankly.

"Who are you?" I asked, eyes narrowed.

Helet out a small laugh. " I'm Vencient. And you have nothing to worry about my lady. "

He gave a small bow. My brow raised slightly. This...Vampire? Is actually sweet?

"Miss Faith, would you like me to tend to those wounds? They look uncomfortable." He said as he stood straight.

I just nodded. This one was very different from the others... he  had even smelled different.

"If you don't mind me asking... What are you?" I had asked, slowly sitting up.

He had flashed a smile, showing off ity bitty fangs.

"I'm a hybrid. Lycan and vampire to be exact." He said as he shut the door behind him.

"Lord Kegan had saved my life actually," He said.

Saved him?  I watched as he opened a drawer in the night stand, pulling out gauze and other materials.

He looked up at me and said, "I will warn you Miss Faith... This will sting."

I only nodded as I looked him over.  Never in my life had I saw a hybrid. Clearly this would be a first for everything.

"Tell me something hybrid, what am I doing here?" I asked.

"I'm not sure." He said as he lightly touched my stiches.

"This is pretty shotty work... And a pretty aweful wound. Would you mind telling me about it?" He asked, snipping away the stiching.

To my own surprise I didn't feel any pain as he worked to free my skin.

"A battle... My old mate had done that." I said quietly.

His lips formed a frown.

"That sounds terrible Miss." He said as he threaded a needle.

"I will make this one quick and as painless as I can. "He said as he sat beside me.

"Doesn't blood make you hungry?" I asked, stretching out slightly.

I only felt a slight pinch before he had finished.

"It only makes me a little hungry since I'm not a full blood. Yet I don't need it to survive so I don't touch the stuff." He said, picking up a cottan ball and soaking it in a foul smelling liquid.

"This will prevent everyone form smelling your blood. It will also hel clean your wound. Everything you've felt  so far has just been a tickle compared to this." He warned before dabbing around the stiching.

I began feeling a dull burning before he applied it to the stitches.  His hand covered my mouth before I let out a loud scream.

"Shh Miss Faith, I know How much this hurts but as soon as i wrap it and get a few pain killers in you, you won't be able to feel it anymore. So do you think that you can hold on to that scream?" He said.

I gave a nod, holding back tears.

"Good. Now I'm going to uncover your mouth." He said before doing so.

I immediately bit down on my lip, letting out a small whimper.

"I know, I know. It hurts." He said as he lightly ran his fingers through my hair.

I began to feel a sudden exhaustion, eyes falling heavy.

"I...I-I.... Vencient..."

I began to panic.  He leaned me against the pillow.

"Shh, everything will be alright." He murmured as he petted my hair.

I couldn't manage to keep my eyes open any more.

"I.. need... Alec..." I whimpered. He stroked my cheek lightly.

" It's alright, you will see him soon." He said, voice fading.

I couldn't preven the final whimper that escaped from my lips as I had went limp.
