Rejected?!

War

Faith: 

I let out a huff, almost morning. Ryder's pack would be ready soon. I picked up on a low howl and stiffened. 'Let's move.' I called out as took off into the tree line. We definately couldn't stay here after all,  it was going too be cramped. Even if this was to be my first war of many my instincts screamed at me to keep moving. I felt everything now. Expecially Alec. He had started to strugle for control. I pulled to a stop and let the others run ahead. 'Alec, just shift.' I said. He gave a shake of his head. I sighed heavily."We don't have time for this! Shift god dammit!"I growled. Alpha or not ,he would obey me. He quickly shifted with a small growl. "Now come on.' I ordered, taking off after the boys. They had found the prefect spot next to the ravine. Howls began to echo through the trees. Each of us shifted. I scanned the tree line as the howls began to grow louder and louder, searching for Ryder.

I found a sudden blur  in the tree line and bared my teeth with a low snarl. He was definately there, they all were.

 Last chance Faith.  He said. A louder snarl ripped through my throat.

 Never! I snapped stepping forward.

A laugh sounded.

Stupid female. He said as he finally emmerged from the tree line.

A few members of his pack had folowed him. Alec immediately took my side but I shrugged him off.I knew what he wanted but Ryder was mine and mine alone. Ryder and I made our way to the center our the packs. We slowly began to circle each other, teeth bared and growls vibrating through the air. He lunged forward but I had shoved his face into the dirt with a smirk.

Hope you enjoy that taste Shay. I mocked, taking a few steps back.

He reminded be of Caleb quite a bit. Bigger, stronger. However, I was small and could use this against him easily. Me being his mate made it all the more sweeter. A growl erupted through Alec's throat. He didn't like this one bit.

Of course you do realize I'm going to kill you right Faith? Would you like that? Your pathetic mate watching a weakling like yourself dying slowly?  He mused.

My wolf had been pushed to the edge. That bastard! I sprung forwrad, taking him to the ground. His teeth quickly latched onto my side, making me yelp. I felt a rush of wind then heard a loud crash. It had been Alec and the boys. The wolves from Ryder's pack had started to rush in to help but they had kept them away.

Ryder had flipped me on to my back and tried to sink his teeth into my tender belly. My claws thankfully connected with his nose, splitting it open. I quickly found my feet and lept atop of his back like i had Caleb. My teeth found a muscle and latched on. His yelp filled the air as he bucked beneith me. I bit down harder and tugged at tthe spot, try to rip it open. Ryder charged at a tree but I had lept off before his back connected with the thick trunk. He let out a loud screech and fell forward. 

You bitch! He yelled, charging.

I quickly side stepped  and latched onto the side of his neck and sunk my claws into his side. He bit down on my exposed shoulder, keeping me in place as he ramed his side into the trunk up a tree. I let out a silent yelp as the air had been pushed from my lungs. I dropped to the hard ground and layed still for a few seconds, eyes closed. I knew that Ryder had backed down because of his wolf. It knew I was hurting.I drew in a deep breath and Found Ryder growling inches from my face. I latched onto his muzzle with a snarl and pulled myself to my feet. My wolf took over and slammed him into the dirt. She quickly climbed on him, biting int muscles and  slashing at his face and sides. 

Not only had she been so very pissed off that he had hurt both of us but she had spoken about our mate. Alec would not loose me no matter what. That was a  promise. A sudden pain shot up my leg and them shoulder. I glanced down and found that Ryder had bitten into both. My claws began to tear at his face, ripping away hunks of glossy black fur in the process. His yelps began to sound more and more. Never in my life would I think that anything could sound more glorious. Ryder rolled over, growling loud. I slipped out from under him and bit down on his belly. Another blissful yelp came. He swatted me off, leaving a gash along my cheek. The pain hadn't phased me much. Instead I had slippded away then bit down on his throat. A low growl sounded. He knew this was the end.

  Do it. He growled, exposong more of his neck.

 Put me out of my fucking missery! Do it! He yelled. I took in a deep breath and sighed. It was all or nothing now. I bit down harder, feeling a hot spurt of his blood coating my fur. A final yelp came as I tore away his throat, spitting it to the ground. I felt myself being tackled to the ground by another wolf from his pack. I quickly pinned it. It may have been stronger but that never stopped me. The female bared her teeth and began to snap at my muzzle. I had grown tired of this now. I bit down into her side and sent her hard into a tree. I charged but another blocked my path, growling loudly. It must have been her mate since the two had a mixed sent. 

I charged, slipping beneith him and sinking my teeth into his leg and snapping it easily.  He screeched, falling over. The female tried tackling me but I had sent her hard into the ground.

 Stop this at once!  I screamed. Everyone had frozen in place and looked at me. I shifted and stared back at them all.

"That's enough!" I comanded.

I had started to feel weak but that wasn't going to stop me from finishing.

"Ryder Shay is dead... And I-"

I had fell face forward and everything went black.
