*The next day/ Faith's pov

I had just gotten out of the shower and began looking for my brush. I really didn't to go back to that hell hole. Back to Ryder and back to everyone else. I just wanted more time alone with my mate! I felt fine reguardless of my past few days so I guess it wasn't so bad... Okay who was I kidding? I didn't want to go back to that school and I didn't want to see Ryder after what had happend with his pack mate. Bitch deserved it for kidnapping an alpha. I shrugged off my heavy thoughs and went back to getting ready for school. I hadn't noticed Alec who stood in the door way, admiring me in a short burgandy towel. He cleared his throat and I had whirled around on my heels, facing him.

"Knock will you?" I pouted jokingly.

He gave a laugh. God how I loved that laugh!

"Looking for something?"

"A way to get out of going to school?"

He shook his head and sat on the edge of the bed.

"Nope, no can do Faith. But your brush is in the bathroom drawer."

He smiled. I gave a roll of my eyes and went hunting for it.

*5 minutes later*

Alec led the way down the stairs but suddenly stopped on the last step. It made me run into hem with a startled yelp. I peeked over his shoulder to see why he'd stoped. I instantly regreted it.

"Get out of the way, we need the girl." A man had said.

He looked to be about our age but I wasn't sure. "

Why do you need me?"

I was completely confused now. His eyes darted to me and started to darken in lust. It make me shiver and I didn't like it. What was going on?Wait... Why was I so hot? I glanced down at Alec who's eyes were a bright gold.

"Alec?" was all I had managed before he picked me up and ran. "

Alec, what the hell is going on?!" I shriekd.

"They're from The Mists...Fay, you need to hide and fast."

He ran faster. Why were they after me? Again why was I so hot?! And... Why did Alec smell so... So.. Good? I burried my nose in his neck and breathed deeply. My wolf howled in ecstacy. She wanted more, much more.

"Faith, don't do that.. I can barely hold him back a-"

I stopped him with a deep kiss, moaning slightly. God he tasted even better than iI remembered! I felt his grip tighten as he kissed back. I started to feel dizzy as our breathing began getting heavier.

"Faith, stop. No!" He said as he pulled away. I let out a small growl and looked at him.

"I promise I'll ease it... But I can't do it right now. If I do I will mark you and I couldn't do that to you Faith. Not while you're Going though this."He explained. Going through this? Going through what? Alec came to a stop outside of a storage unit. "You have to stay here for a few days Faith." He sighed. I let out a loud growl. "What do you mean I have to stay here for a few days?!" I shrieked. Alec let out a breath. "I'll.. Stay here with you." He mubbled. I wanted to laugh when it felt as if my wolf had started doing backflips. Alone.. With Alec?! This is a dream right?! Right?!

The metal door opened as Alec pressed a few numbers on the keypad. I didn't look at them... Probably should have but oh well. "Hurry inside. It's getting stronger." He said as he motined inside. I honestly had no idea what he was talking about. What was getting stronger? I made my way into the apartment like interior of the storage unit. I caught the scent of something as tepped past the door. It was a metalic stenchthat gave me chills. Blood, definately blood. I suddenly felt arms wrapping around my waist, I was going to let out a growl before I realized it was Alec. I glanced to the door that was now closed. No way out.. Lovely. My wolf felt a bit awkward... Why? "Alec?" I said as he nuzzled my neck.
