Peter was sure that he was gonna loose his head.

"What about Harry?" He asked, his voice sounding small. Wade sighed and rested a large hand on the demon's slim shoulders. "We found that the demon stalking you was Harry" The larger man said. Pete's eyes lifted so quickly he was sure his sockets were going to come loose. "What?" He asked before he could even process that he was talking.

"Harry is a demon" Wade repeated. The smaller of the two men felt ecstatic. A weight had been lifted. He almost was a little cocky too. Wade seemed like such a smart, strong, attractive, funny..... his mind was getting off track but he seemed competent and had a long track record yet the man was so far of the trail he might as wellbe talking to the big bad wolf at this point.

It wasn't exactly his fault when Pete had centuries worth of practice to not get caught.

"So I'm free to go, right? I mean surely you have people lined up around the block waiting for  you to work for them and I don't need to be babysat now that Harry's gone" The demon said. It was a bit of a slip at the endand he dreaded it.

"Well, here's the thing, baby boy. We haven't disposed of the threat yet. I've put out an alert and men are hunting it down but by now it knows we're looking for it and it seems pretty keen on you. I still believe that it's too dangerous to leave you without protection" The buff man said.

"And you have got to know that I will always abide by protection" He said with a wink.

The danger was actually code for the hunter known as Deadpool not managing to seduce the beautiful dancer yet and wants to get him in his bed. Peter would be safe from demons in his bed... which gives Wade a dastardly idea.

"Right now we don't even know if you're apartment is safe, it could be bugged, it could have made a key, hey! You're apartment might have hidden doors and passages that it has access too!" The man rambled.

It was getting on Peter's nerves that Wade only referred to the man he believed was a demon as an it rather than a he. He shouldn't have expected anything else of course, Wade was a hunter so he was bound to not have respect for demons. And even though it was solong ago, Pete could remember when he acted the same way, thinking demons to vermins and not people.

But that was so long ago, electricity was miles away from even being a thought back then, so why could it be that a modern man couldhave the same thought process as him back then.

"Back on track! Since you are in danger, I propose that after this, I accompany you back to your apartment so that you may get your stuff and that you move into my safehouse with me for the time being. You know until the demon is found" The demon hunter said.

That was bad for Pete, like really really bad. He had half a mind to go to his dump sight and dig up Harry's corpse. It would be unlikely that his body would be found at all and a miracle for it to be soon. Being locked up under the slightly uncomfortable gaze of Wade until who knows when would be very, very bad for Pete.

As a demon he would be compromised. His apartment reeked of demonic energy and he had a few things lying around that should not be seen so things weren't looking good in short term but long term? He wouldn't be able to feed, he'd have to keep his unnatural tendencies under control and also would have to come up with excuses to avoid the non-demon friendly memorabilia that the hunter surely had.

Plus spending nearly every waking moment with the bruteof a man that he definitely didn't have a crush on sounded like absolute torture.

Maybe he should fake his death, he always was good at those.

A/N Short again, sorry. Also I'm back! I'll try to post more often and/orwith longer chapters but this one will have to be a little smaller while I get back in the swing of things.
