Touya's POV:

As I cried out in pain. Enji orders the slave boy to send out the notice for tomorrow's entertainment. Making it mandatory to watch by everyone of the neighboring towns.

"Why, what did you hurt him? He didn't do anything to you. "

"You really wanna know?"

Enji leans over my shoulder and whispers in my ear.

"I did it to watch you in agony. Nothing more and nothing less. "

In a fit of range. I broke free from the chains with raw strangth. Enji backs away in shock of my power. Instead of going after him. I claimed up the wooden cross to check on keigo. Carefully getting him free to insure no more injury.

"Keigo,  keigo answer me damnit."

Those beautiful eyes open with a weak expression.

"T...touya?"

"Yeah it's me. Listen I'm getting us out of here. Do you think you'll be a to hold on until we're at a safe distance?"

At that moment his injuries began to heal as his blood faded away. Enji begins talking.

"So she was right. He really is icarus. That means whoever has his wings becomes a god."

As I was about to jump away. Someone kicks keigo out of my arms. A woman with white hair, has fur clothes that don't leave much to the imagination,  and a rabbit tail. She holds keigo in his arms with sharp nails to his throat.

"Stand down little man. For if I take this birdy's head off. He'll be truly dead!"

Keigo:" Mir...iko please stop this. If you promise me you won't kill touya. I'll go back with you."

Touya:" miriko? Then that's the goddess who- wait don't go."

Miriko:" I promise that I won't kill your pet human."

I fell to my knees as they start to fly away.

"Keigo! I.....I love you."

My confession was quiet as he was too far for my voice to be heard even yelling. Before I knew it, guards were all around me and had stronger chains in hand.

"I guess the gads aren't on your side, but mine. Take him below. There's some preparations we need to do before tomorrow."

I didn't fight back or resist being captured. Once underground in the gladiators cells.. my armor was forcefully removed and I was stripped to check for any hidden weapons. Once disarmed, I has given a prison outfit of a grey robe that ends just above my knees. After that an iron mask was placed on my head and heavy chains like was ankers boats were binding my limbs from moving. Once the guards left. The gladiators walked up to me. Since we shared one cell together. At least I wasn't alone for my last night alive. One guy walks up to me.

"Looks like another person tried to kill that bastard. I figured by now everyone would've known he's immortal."

"Nobody tells the people from the labyrinth anything."

The place goes quiet after I spoke.

"The labyrinth!? Holy shit someone survived and got out!"

"Not quite, he let me out to entertain him tomorrow."

"Ouch, that's rough. Well now you know. Enji got a evergreen spell from the goddess of nature miriko. He'll gain no injuries,  but his son natsuo will. Any damagevdelt will go to Natsuo and heal within moments. Cursing them both with immortality."

I lift my head to see two people standing infront.  One has blonde hair with red eyes. The other is taller with half white, half red hair, and a scar on his face. The half and half haired one speaks.

"Lucky for you tomorrow we'll take the empiror down."
