Spread on the ground, Elyse's legs and wings were completely stretched and she could only watched the two humans above her, examining her at the corner of her eyes. Her muscles didn't wanted to answer to her, paralysed and afraid with her eyes moving frenetically from one human to the other.

"Correct me if I'm wrong but it looks like a dragon" Said Matt with shock.

"I know but... that's impossible. Dragon aren't real" Replied Tess in the same state.

'What do they mean? Maybe they don't know about dragons in this land' Thought Elyse still afraid.

"There's one right before our eyes! Do you realize that? It's the first, the very first dragon that any human ever saw!" Matt said exalted.

"What do we do?" Asked Tess.

"I don't know. As much as I would like to observe it here, we need to take it to the center".

"Then we should hurry. Dragons are supposed to be huge no? That one looks like a baby, if it's mother comes back we will be in a very bad situation."

"I don't think there's a parent. That nest was definitely made by this little guy, there's no egg shell, no sign of a bigger dragon and the size matches her. But I don't want to get proven wrong".

Elyse watched Matt grab a few plates of some kind of glass with some tiny holes that he assembled together to make a box. Terrorized, she watched them put her in the box unable to counterattack or to flee until they placed another wall on her head, imprisoning her inside.

"I'll carry her. Can you take care of my bag?" Asked Matt.

"Yeah"

They gathered all their weird tools until Matt lift the box and placed some straps on it before carrying it on his back. Completely horrified, Elyse slowly looked her little nest, her cocoon of peace for the last five hundred years where she was safe from anything, disappear behind the cliff as the humans started to go down.

'Okay Elyse, calm down! You're still alive, they didn't tried to kill you, just kidnapped you. That's fine... what am I saying it's absolutely not fine! They're going to kill me later!' Elyse screamed trying to move at every second without a response from her muscules.

"Do you think there's another one around?" Asked Matt.

"We've explored almost all the caves around and none of them had a dragon inside. Stop asking questions and move, I want to be on the ground before the night" Replied Tess.

Matt mumbled something that even Elyse couldn't understand. This humans were taking her down to the grounds and that was the last thing she wished. Couldn't they just let her go? Go kill a bigger dragon much more fearsome and dangerous than her? No! They had to come her and disturb her peace. But as soon as she would be able to move again she would take any opportunity to fly away.

This was the beginning of a long descent that took them the afternoon, slowly getting closer and closer to the ground with the wind sometimes blowing around them. Thankfully for Elyse, they quickly went to another side of the cliff and reached the shadows, protecting her from the sun that was already starting to be too hot for her. The night just started to fall that they reached the ground, a bit exhausted and right next to a big cart looking like nothing Elyse saw before.

"I'll drive the car. You can put the dragon in the back, we don't have any bird in the cages anyway" Said Tess.

"Sure".

Matt moved and open the two doors at the back of the cart and enter inside, removing Elyse's box from it's shoulder and putting it inside another cage. After closing it tightly, he closed the doors from the inside and open a small pane leading to the front.
