I can't remember much of last night other than slightly waking up in daddy's arms and then wishing him a happy daddy's day before falling back asleep.
"Rise and shine baby." I heard a soft voice say.
I slightly stirred, keeping my eyes closed trying to fall back asleep.
"I don't think so young lady, you have school today." I heard him chuckle before I slowly squinted my eyes open just to see his grinning face right in front of mine.
"But I wanna sleep more!" I whined.
"Come on baby girl, you can take a nice long nap with me after school." He offered as I groaned before opened my eyes fully and threw the blanket off.
"Daddy can you get me my blankie?" I asked as he gave me a wide smile and nodded before rushing to grab my yellow blanket from the other side of the bed.
"Let's get you ready before breakfast." He said as he scooped me up in his arms and carried me to my bathroom.
"Why are you in such a good mood today?" I asked suspiciously as he put some toothpaste on my toothbrush.
"Because you called me daddy." He said with a grin.
He's so happy just because I called him daddy.
"But I didn't do anything, you're my daddy so I called you daddy." I said confused.
"It's very special to me though princess." He said as he helped me brush my teeth.
"So if I call you daddy forever, you'll be happy forever?" I asked hoping he says yes. If that's the case then I won't even have to do anything. I can just call him daddy and get myself out of trouble. Easy.
"Yes honey." He chuckled before wiping my face and walked with me to my closet.
He picked out my outfit for the day before helping me change.
"Why don't I do your hair today?" He said with a grin as he picked up my hairbrush.
"No offence daddy but Aiden does a better job." I shrugged as I quickly took my hairbrush from him and ran out of my room before he could catch me.
"Come on Aiden hurry up." I called out for him as I heard the shower turn off.
"I'm coming I'm coming." His muffled voice came from his closet.
I lay on his bed like a starfish and started counting the glow in the dark stars on his ceiling.
I remember last year during the winter time when Aiden and I wanted to camp out in the backyard and watch the stars. Daddy obviously said no because it's too cold and we'll get sick, so he went out and bought glow in the dark stars. So we stuck them on the ceiling and had a sleepover in his room. It was so much fun.
"Right what do you want today?" He asked as he sat on his bed and stood me up in front of him.
"Two Dutch braids please." I asked as I handed him my hairbrush and hair ties.
"Daddy tired doing my hair today but I quickly ran over here before he could try anything. Only you're allowed to touch my hair Aid." I told him as I fiddled with my friendship bracelet.
"What?" He asked as he stopped braiding my hair and turned me around to face him.
He gave me a very confused look as he furrowed his eyebrows.
"What's so confusing about what I said?" I asked with a frown.
"I think you've hit your head too many times. You want me to tell daddy to take a look at it?" I asked concerned.
