The next morning I woke up with a new burst of energy. Today we're meeting Elijah's new girlfriend, I can't wait to introduce her to all of my dolls and dance with her and sing with her too. Just thinking about it was getting me really excited.
I quickly jumped out of bed with Mr Bananas tucked safely under my arm and skipped towards my bathroom to brush my teeth. Once I brushed my teeth for a whole two minutes, I walked out of my room and saw Austin texting on his phone walking in my direction.
He looked up from his screen when he was just a couple feet away from me and gave me a wide smile.
"I was just about to come and get you pumpkin." He said as he lifted me up and carried me downstairs and into the kitchen.
"What's on the menu today chef?" I asked as I picked up my colouring book and sat Mr Bananas on the stool next to mine.
"Whatever you like your Highness." He said with a wink making me giggle at his silly yet accurate nickname for me.
"Well, I would like crumpets and tea and scones. I'm pretty sure that's what the queen eats anyway." I said as I shrugged my shoulders and carried on colouring my hippo picture.
"I'll make chocolate chip pancakes instead. With extra chocolate chips." He said as he got all the ingredients out of the cupboards.
"Don't tell Boring Ben or he'll tell me how my teeth are all going to fall out." I said as I carried on colouring.
The second those words left my mouth Austin burst out laughing. Confused at his sudden outburst, I looked up from my picture and looked at him with furrowed eyebrows.
"Boring Ben? Where did you think of that your majesty?" He said as he carried on laughing.
"Well, if you must know. Aiden and I have been watching Horrid Henry for the last 2 weeks. So I got ispired by him." I said with a grin at the new word I used.
The one think my brothers always remind me of is how good my speaking is and how I use all these big words. It makes me feel so smart. Which I am.
"Inspired, it's inspired sweetheart." He said as he flipped the pancakes.
"Oh, well inspired then." I said as I rolled my eyes.
"What about Elijah, what have you thought for him?" Austin asked, quite intrigued by my creativity.
"Eggy Elijah." I said seriously as I bit into my pancake that Austin placed in front of me.
"E....eggy E....Elijah." He said as he burst out laughing again wiping a few tears.
"Yes, Eggy Elijah, his obsession with eggs is unreal. Plus, his head looked like an egg in that photo I saw a couple days ago when we were looking at the photo album." I said with a smile at the memory of my brothers when they were younger.
"Ahh, I remember that one. Ben and I were mad at Elijah for breaking our controllers so we shaved his head. He's the heaviest sleeper I know. Aiden was seven at the time and you young lady weren't even born." He teased as he pinched my cheeks.
"Yeah yeah, have all the fun before I'm born." I pouted before drinking my milk.
"Don't worry honey we can shave his head again, but right now you need to get dressed for the day. Elijah's girlfriend is coming over at six so you can help me prepare dinner." He said with a wide smile as he placed my plate and glass in the sink and ushered me out of the kitchen.
"You'll be lucky to receive Chef Ev's services, I'm feeling generous today." I said to him as I walked up the stairs.
"I feel honoured Everly. I really do." He chuckled as he walked back into the kitchen. "Sweetheart, wake your brothers up for me. It's breakfast time." He shouted just as I reached the top of the stairs.
