The next day, I woke up still a little shocked from yesterday. Not to mention the fact that the same question circled my mind non stop. Why didn't momma love me? I tried too hard to just forget about it altogether but it seems impossible and quite frankly it's annoying me very very much. Much more than when Aiden annoys me when he sits Mr bananas on top of the refrigerator, or even just sits on top of him.
"Rise and shine sunshine." Austin said with a grin as he walked into my room and pulled open the curtains.
I instinctively shoved my head into my pillow to block any light coming from the windows.
"Go away." I said as clear as I could but was quite useless considering it would be muffled from the pillow.
"Come on cupcake, you have school today." He said as he lifted me up from my bed, much to my dismay, and carried me into the bathroom.
He put me down onto my small stool and walked into my closet to choose an outfit for the day while I brushed my teeth and washed my face.
"Jeans or leggings?" He shouted from my closet.
"Leggings." I mumbled, still half asleep.
A couple minute later, I finished brushing my teeth and washing my face and patted my face dry with my Dora the explorer towel and sat on top of my bed cuddling Mr bananas as I waited for Austin to come out of my closet with my clothes.
Just as I was about to fall back asleep, he came out of the closet and shook me awake.
"Get dressed then come downstairs. I'll be making waffles." He said with a grin as he kissed my forehead and left my room.
Without wasting another second, I jumped off of my bed and quickly changed out of my pyjamas and into my leggings and jumper. I picked up my hair brush from my dressing table and quickly made my way to Aidens room.
"I was just wondering where you were." He said with a small smile as I climbed onto his bed and waited for him to put his top on and do my hair.
"I'm feeling very lazy today." I mumbled with a small yawn afterwards.
"You can take a nap after school today but don't tell the rest I let you. Apparently it'll mess up your sleep schedule but we both know you love sleep more than anyone or anything else. So it shouldn't be a problem." He shrugged with a teasing smile on his face.
"I definitely love sleep more than you. That's just a fact." I grumbled as he handed me back my hair brush and walked out of his room with me following close behind.
"Aiden, make sure you stop by at the principles office first thing in the morning." Ben said as he sipped on his coffee.
"Benjamin." I called and watched him turn his attention away from his phone and to me.
"Yes hun." He said softly.
"Can I have some coffee today? I feel very tired." I sighed as I sat down on my special seat.
"Coffee is only for adults honey. So no you can't have any. Besides, it's just the morning, you'll have all your energy back when you see all your friends in school." He said with a softly smile as I kicked my legs back and forth.
"Okay Ev, eat up and then we can leave for school." Austin said as he started putting all the dishes into the dishwasher.
"Aren't you guys getting late?" I questioned Elijah and Ben.
"I don't have any surgeries or appointments lined up for another two hours so I thought I'd have some time to myself." Ben shrugged as he took another sip of his coffee.
