The next few days passed by with a blur, my brothers were more on edge and were working with Elijah's team trying to track down David. They made sure that at least one brother was with me or I was at Holly's house at all times.
The holidays were soon over both fortunately and unfortunately. Unfortunately, because I wouldn't be able to play with my brothers all day and fortunately becuase I could now play with my friends all day.
It's now Monday morning and everyone's wide awake. I don't have school till 9 but Aiden starts school at 8 so either Elijah or Ben drop him off and Austin takes me since he works in my school. It all works out.
Anyway, it was 8:30 when I heard Austin shout from the bottom of the stairs.
"Ev, come downstairs and eat breakfast, we're leaving soon." He shouted.
I quickly tied my laces and carefully walked down the stairs so I don't trip and fall. It happened last year and it was not pretty. Once I reached the end the of the staircase, I walked into the kitchen and sat on my special chair as I waited for Austin to give me my breakfast.
Once he was done, he placed two pancakes in front of me along with a glass of apple juice. I love apple juice.
"Eat up and then we'll leave for school." Austin said as he ruffled my hair a little and walked over to the sink to wash all the dishes.
10 minutes later, I was finally finished with my food and walked towards the front door waiting for Austin to come with our bags. Once he arrived, he slung both bags over one shoulder and held my hand.
We walked over towards Holly's house to pick her up and finally got buckled into the car and drove off.
"Ev, I can't wait to see Kade and Noah today." Holly squealed in excitement.
"Me too. We haven't seen them in so long." I said with a grin.
"Whose Kade and Noah? You've never mentioned them before." Austin asked suspiciously.
"Noah, is the boy from the water park, Eliza's son, and Kade is their neighbour. We were playing with them in the park the other day." I explained.
"Hmmm okay." He said suspiciously.
My brothers hate it when I play with boys, they say boys have cooties but they're boys themselves. They think we don't know that cooties are fake. I only use it as an excuse to get out of doing a lot of things and getting Aiden in trouble. It's quite fun if you ask me.
Anyway, 5 minutes later we arrived in front of our school, it's for 4-6 year olds. Austin helped the both of us out of the car and handed us our backpacks.
"Let's get to class ladies." He said as he held both our hands and lead us into the building.
Once Austin had brought us to class, Holly and I sat in our seats which were right next to each other and placed our backpacks on the hooks at the side of the classroom.
"Okay kids, before we start, we have a new kid. Noah, introduce yourself please." Austin said with a kind smile.
"Hi, I'm Noah Evans and I love chocolate." He said with a grin.
"I love chocolate too." I shouted out with grin which made everyone laugh.
"I'm sure we all love chocolate, now, Noah, you can sit with Everly and Holly." Austin told him as he took a seat in his chair.
"Hey." The three of us said as Noah sat down which made us laugh.
"Is Kade not in this class?" Noah asked with a slight frown.
