The next morning came by quick, mostly because I slept a little earlier than usual but it's fine. Anyway, I woke up cuddled up to Elijah, not again. He always give the tightest bear hugs, it takes ages to get out of them! Even Mr Bananas can't help me!

Okay, we're off topic, back to my midlife crisis. I grabbed Mr Bananas who had been cruelly kidnapped by Elijah and carefully threw him off of the bed so he wouldn't be injured. Now, phase two of my plan, I grabbed Elijah's arms with both my hands and pushed them as hard as I possibly could. They won't budge.

Plan B, I took a deep breath and covered both my ears with my hands before screaming as loud as I possibly could at the top of my lungs.

A startled Elijah immediately shot up from the bed and looked around his room before turning to me with an extremely worried look on his face. Now, I almost felt guilty for scaring him. Key word, almost. I mean, can you blame me, the guy practically suffocated me. It had to be done.

"Everly Rose, how dare you give me a heart attack by screaming your lungs out. I thought you got hurt or something." He sighed before flopping back into the bed dramatically.

"Well Elijah, maybe I wouldn't have to take such extreme measures if you hadn't suffoctated me." I said while crossing my arms and jumping off of the bed.

Just as he was about to reply the door burst open with three giants standing in the doorway without their shirts on. Ugh, boys. I mentally rolled my eyes and gave them a cheeky smile before turning back to Elijah.

"Haha, I did not suffocate you. How do you even know what that is?" He asked while huffing and puffing.

"Secret." I said before giving him a huge grin and picking up Mr Bananas from the floor.

"Everly, how many times have I told you not to wake any of of us up like that?" Ben said while crossing his arms over his chest and raising an eyebrow.

"And how many times have I told you that I don't like it when you smelly boys sleep with your shirts off. No one likes those weird bumpy things on your stomachs. You might as well be aliens." I huffed and stood on my tiptoes right in front of Ben trying to be more intimidating. I don't think it was working though because I'm like the side of his leg. Shorter even.

"That's not what all the girls say." Aiden winked as Ben and Austin slap his head.

"Ewwww why do you show girls your stomach? Cooties Aiden, cooties!" I yelled at him while throwing my hands up in the air to exaggerate my point. "You're the one that told me it's a life threaftening disease!" I said wide eyed. What if he dies? Maybe I could turn his room into a room for Mr Bananas, even teddies need their privacy.

"There's no such thing as cooties." Aiden scoffed as he turned to leave.

Now, with my amazing brain and quick thinking. I gave my brothers an innocent smile.

"So nothing would happen if I kiss a boy at the park, or at school?" I said innocently.

All four of their heads snapped down to me, they all looked lost for words. They looked like Mrs Puff from SpongeBob.

"No, you certainly cannot kiss a boy at the park or anywhere else. No kissing young lady, cooties are real. They're the realist thing ever." Austin said while kneeling down to me and slightly shaking me as he held me by my arms.

"Aiden tell her cooties are real or you will not like what happens to you when we leave the room." Ben whispered not too quietly at Aiden.

"Fine fine. I lied troll, cooties are real." He said while rolling his eyes.
