This is an alternative timeline in Halo Reach where Noble 6 survives and Emile is the one who dies in a firefight. Noble 6 retires as a Spartan at 34 and finds a love he never thought was possible. (NOT MASTERCHIEF!!!!!!!)
Daniel walks on the streets of Earth as someone tries to rush by him in a hurry, but bumps into his shoulder and falls. "Woah!" The woman slips, but Daniel's arm acts quickly and catches her. "Are you okay?" Daniel then notices The scattered papers on the wet ground, which then Daniel pulls up his hood to prevent his hair getting drenched. "I think so, but I might get fired.... So not a very good day so far." Daniel quickly comes up with a solution. "Why don't I go with you to your workplace and vouch for you?" The girl shakes her head. "I doubt they'll let you in to Oni..." Daniel smiles. "I used to be a Spartan, so I bet they will." The woman has a glimmer in her eyes. "In that case, you could totally vouch for me!" Daniel takes out a candy, and eats it as he follows her to the familiar Outpost in which he landed in. A few hours later, they had the matter settled, and the lady kept her job. "Thank you so much, sir!" Daniel looked down upon her. "It's no problem, especially for me." Daniel saw a Spartan rushing by, along with people who were walking their dogs. He suddenly sees his old friend. "Hey, miss, do you want to talk to my friend?" The lady looked on her phone, which said 11:38. "I guess, I'm about to have lunch break. Although, I guess I didn't go through any criminal files yet..." Daniel guided her to Chief, who was wrapped up in a huge bandage, in which covers his wound. "Hey, Chief!" Chief looks up, when he sees Daniel, who is holding the woman's shoulder. "Who is this? What is the significance of bringing her to me?" The woman looks at the bandage of Chief, in which she starts to frown. "I'm Maria, and I was lucky to meet him in my time of need. He helped me keep my job!" Daniel smiles proudly, but on the inside, he wishes he could've stopped Chief from getting hurt, though Chief doesn't look bothered. Chief looks down to the ground, and Daniel knows that it's time for his leave. "Bye, save some souls, Spartan!"
