Avery tried to calm her hammering heart for a while, nothing seemed to work. She could not see anything with the blindfold in the way so it made it more difficult for her heart to stop speeding. Suddenly a loud opening of the tall thick doors of the chambers opened powerfully, a strong scent infested the chambers and passed enchanting waves all over Avery's body. She froze in place, even her racing blood stopped competing with her ceasing heart. He began to slowly walk a few steps forward, the sound of rough boots entered as it slammed the door shut. Avery jumped, she was shaking and panicking, she did not know what to do. She took a deep breath, trying to regain her composure.

"W-what is your name?" Avery dared to ask frightened by the dark energy surrounding the room. She knew exactly who it was, she did not think of herself to be fooled by his charming scent, she was supposed to hate him but somehow, for some strange reason she wanted- no, needed him to come closer. She wondered what could this enchanting yet intimidating creature's real name was. He looked down at the poor innocent girl that was blindfolded in front of him and grinned.

"I am your king."

'That is not enough,' She thought to herself disappointed.

"Avery." His husky voice whispered her name. Avery's body shivered, hesitating to breathe. She has never heard someone call out her name so perfectly.

"Please," Her voice spoke out weak and broken. She could sense his eyes on her, devouring her small figure with his lustful eyes admiringly, leaving a tingling sensation. She swallowed, ready to beg him for her life when he spoke again.

"You are afraid of me, are you not, little Avery?" He asked with his silky voice. She felt a strong pull towards him; she wanted him close even though she knew that she shouldn't. She wondered why her body was reacting in such an unusual way with him.

"Please, do not hurt me." She begged again. Her heart was hammering, waiting to jump out of her chest at any moment. She felt trapped, as if the king's scent was enveloping her, keeping her captive.

"Get up." He ordered. Avery swallowed as she stayed frozen in place. "Did you not hear me?"

Ever so slowly, she stood up, her chains making noise as she did. She heard him take a few steps towards her but she immediately backed away until the back of her knees hit the bed.

"Don't, please." She whispered. She knew he was standing right in front of her now. She could feel the heat coming from his body, his scent was intoxicating; it was taking all of her self control not to touch him. One of her shaking hands rose up to brush past his muscular stomach but her other hand immediately grabbed it before it was too late, she knew that if she touches him; she wasn't going to stop. The king let out a low chuckle.

"You are so innocent." He whispered amusingly.

She stayed silent as she played with her fingers nervously, his presence was strong and powerful. The tension was so thick Avery was having a hard time staying up on her feet.

Suddenly, he moved away from her and she heard his footsteps around the room. The windows were shut hastily and Avery jumped by the abrupt noise. Then, he came back to her.

"The windows are closed now." He stated as he started pulling her blindfold down, his warm fingers lightly touching her skin. The blindfold fell around her neck as she opened her eyes slowly. The first thing she saw was the defined muscles of his chest leading the way down to a perfect sculpted abdomen.

"Look at me." He demanded coldly. Avery looked up to meet a pair of mesmerizing bright pink eyes. Her breath got caught inside her lungs, how was it possible for a creature to be so beautiful and evil in the same time? He was staring right into her eyes with so much intensity that she felt the urge to look away, but somehow, she didn't. She stared right back at him and didn't dare look anywhere else, like if she fell right into his dark spell.
