Here is a picture of what I imagine Avery to look like! :)

*~*~*~*

Ten years later...

Avery stared at her chained wrists that were resting on her lap, she also glanced at her mark that layed perfectly on her left wrist. Belinda, the maid came earlier to bring her some food. She's really sweet to Avery and took care of her during these ten years, she sees her as a mother now since she no longer has one anymore. Belinda and Austin were the only people Avery could think of that visited her during all these years. She often thought of ways to escape but didn't want to risk on failing.

Avery combed her long  blonde messy hair with her fingers and fixed her short dress; she did not want Austin to see her all disheveled.

Avery Tornment was not a nine year old little girl anymore; She is a nineteen year old woman now. Her body has developed curves in all the right places. She would often feel tired just seeing the dark and have nothing else to do but stare at the shadowed walls. She still remembers clearly the day the monster ruined her life like if it was yesterday, she wonders what she did wrong to deserve what she is now suffering. What she did to get her childhood destroyed and not getting an opportunity on being taught properly; becoming an inexperienced female. She clung her chains as she waited for Austin to arrive.

Austin walked down the front property of the castle, thinking about Avery and worrying if it is time to visit her or not. Belinda approached Austin anxiously.

"Sir Austin, the leader of the warriors wanted to inform you that Char, The dragon is not feeling well lately. He wants you to notify the king in person about Char, the king is in his chambers." Belinda said.

"Thank you, I will notify him now." Austin said smiling politely to her. Belinda bowed respectively to let him know that she is leaving to go finish her chores.

Austin wondered towards the castle and thought maybe he should put on new clothes since these were the ones he wore yesterday when he visited Avery leaving her scent in his clothes but he had no time. He stood in front of the king's chamber nervously. The king does not know that Austin has been visiting Avery every day for these past ten years and Austin fears that he won't find out anytime soon. Austin let out a long breath to calm himself down and knocked on the door.

"Who is it?" The king asked coldly.

"I-It is Austin, my king." Austin said, feeling sweat trickling down his forehead. The king took a while to answer.

"Come in." Austin opened one of the giant doors slowly not wanting to make so much noise.

"The warrior is worried about Char, he is not feeling well, my king, he was thinking maybe you could help him?" Austin asked shaking. The king focused on Austin, ignoring what he had asked.

The King noticed that Austin was even more horrified than usual so he got peculiar to why Austin was acting so strange. With the king's powerful mind you could never hide something from him for long and by then he noticed a familiar scent he has not smelled in years through Austin's clothes.

"Austin." The King stated demandingly.

"Yes, my king?" Austin replied still shaking to death. The king grabbed a glass of wine from the table next to him and slowly gulped it down, his eyes kept on Austin.

"How old is she?" The king asked calmly. Austin could not swallow the big lump stuck on his throat, not wanting to move a muscle.

"Wh-who, my king?" Austin asked playing dumb.
