~Aurelia Pov~
After a boring day at school today, it's finally time for cheer practice, but weirdly enough, I haven't seen Caroline today. I guess it's my turn to step up as co-captain. Caroline wouldn't be pleased, but she should show up to school. I meet with Bonnie and Elena by the gym doors. It's an easy way to get to the field.

Bonnie and Elena talk to each other, while I just vaguely listen. "So, tonight I'm having a dinner." Bonnie plops her things onto the freshly mowed grass. "You coming?" Elena looks at me for a moment before turning back to Bonnie. "Is this a setup to get Cass and I into the same room?" Obviously, but we're not going to admit that. "No." I shrug. "Stefan and Cassie are hanging out tonight." Bonnie informs her before shimmying off her jacket.

Honestly, I don't think she's buying it. "As they always are." Elena says bitterly to herself. "How can I trust that she's not going?" I don't understand why they can't be civil. "I'll call her." Bonnie rolls her eyes as she pulls out her phone from her bag. "There they are." I point them out. "Why don't you just go ask?" Elena rolls her eyes. "Fine, I'll be there."

Bonnie cheers to the fact, Elena agrees. "Now that we've settled that, where's Caroline?" Bonnie looks around. "I don't know." Elena shrugs before taking a sip of her water. "It's not like her." Bonnie reaches for her phone again. "I'll try her cell." Suddenly, there's a loud motor sound coming in the opposite direction of us. "Uh." Elena points to a blue car. "Oh, my God."

Everyone else who's looking at the site in front of us starts to whisper to one another. "That must be the Mystery guy from the grill." I roll my eyes as I watch the pair share a kiss. "That's not a mystery guy, that's Damon Salvatore." I inform her. "Salvatore, as in Stefan?" I nod. "I got the other brother." Caroline smirks. "Hope Cass doesn't mind." Little did she know, Cassie could care less. "Sorry I'm late, Girls."

I look over at Damon, he sends me a wink. "I was busy." Oh, I'm sure she was. "Let's start with the double pike herkie hurdler." He's playing a game, and I have no intent on losing it.

After practice, I make my way over to the football field. Cassandra and Stefan left together, while Elena and Bonnie went to set up dinner at Bonnie's. Caroline walks over with me to meet Tyler. I have no idea her plan of getting home. Whichever way she chooses is fine with me, as long as it doesn't involve a certain Salvatore. "Are you even listening, Lia?" I snap out of my thoughts. "Sorry, I was thinking about something."
