Aurelia Grey's point of view

Today's Stefan's birthday, and Cassie is planning a party for Stefan at the house. Currently, I'm running errands for tonight. I'm not even halfway through the list of errands, the party starts in like 12 hours, and I still have to pick up my outfit for the night. As of right now, I have to drop off the cake at the boarding house, which I know Mischievous Marty will be there.

Cassie said she'd leave the door open for me, given that she's trying to run errands herself. "Seems like you just can't get enough of me." Damon hums as he walks into the kitchen with his black shirt fully unbuttoned. "Can you at least act decently for your brother's birthday?" I would just like a normal day around here. "Only for you." He taps my nose lightly. "Do that again, and I'll bite it off."

As he smirks, I can only imagine the things going through his mind. "Are you doing your errands for Cass?" I wonder if he would be bold enough to say that around her. "No, I just spend my weekends delivering cakes to random houses." He pours himself a cup of coffee into a black mug. "Hey, if I have to be on my best behavior, so should you." I'm not the one going around the town biting people. "So, how many more errands do you have left?"

Damon asks as he pours another cup of coffee. "This is everything that's checked off." I show him the blue notepad, with lines that are filled with cursive. "Looks like you need some help." He states as he takes the notepad. "The only help we need from you is either for you not to show up, or act accordingly if you do." My tone becomes sassy. "Can I tag along?" He asks as he buttons up his shirt. "I have to get something from around there too." He mentions. "There's no way Cassandra gave you a task."

I look at him with amusement as I take a sip of the coffee he hands me. It tastes a bit off, but Damon's never been the best at making coffee from a bag. "You're right, but I need to get my brother a present, and that shop is the closest." I look down at my list. "I don't think a 162-year-old vampire would appreciate a pink bouquet for his birthday." I cross my arms as I look at him with amusement. "You're right, but I can guarantee that he's never been given a pink flower bouquet in his 162 years." He argues as if he's made a valid point. "What's the real reason you want to tag along?"
