Confusing

why is poetry so enticing,
vague collection of words
that people glorify
maybe to stay sane, they say

why does poetry symbolizes love,
romance, and passion
why can't it be spontaneous and ugly
because I know I want it to be

why does life feel like a poem
one day you're living, 
the other you're gasping for air
it's a goddamn pulmonary disease sucking the air out of people's lungs causing a worldly pandemic.
