Chapter 3 - Sex Banter

Azriel :
When he saw Elain and Gwyn together, he was dumbfounded. Of course Gwyn had to wear the necklace on the same day Elain finally looks at Azriel. He had heard that she and Lucian had been visiting the day court for collecting information about Koschei. He didn't know what they did or what they talked about.

He only knew that he saw Gwyn soothing Elain when she was crying because of him. And he just couldn't control his curiosity and neither his shadows apparantly, for one of the sneaky ones had gone to Gwyn and informed her about his presence.

Since 500 years he has had a symbiotic relationship with his shadows, in which mainly his shadows would listen to him. But around Gwyn, they act like they're their own creatures. Not listening to one thing Azriel said. And apparently, today was the same.

He then slowly walked towards Gwyn and Elain. Both of them stood up. Gwyn's expression was somber but he could see the mischief in her eyes as clear as day. But then he also saw Elain. He face was tear stained. Because of him.

Elain then excused herself, like she always did in his presence. And as soon as he was sure Elain was gone, he whispered to Gwyn, "WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING?"

And Gwyn burst out laughing. As hard as Azriel tried to control the smile on the corners of his lips, he failed. When Gwyn finally stopped laughing and controlled her laughter, she said, "Well you obviously like her and you weren't doing anything about it, so I thought I would".

"I don't like her" Azriel said somberly knowing the lie was like poison on his tongue. Gwyn rolled her eyes and said, "Oh really? Then why were you two making star eyes at each other during lunch?".

"No we weren't" Azriel said a bit too quickly and realized his mistake. "Ahhhhh, too fast of a reply shadowsinger. Remember, you were the one who taught me that if a person replies too quick and is a bit too confident in their answer, they are lying".

Damn you Gwyn. Gwyn continued, "Why don't you ask her out?". There was a pause after that. Azriel contemplated if he should tell Gwyn or not. Obviously she wouldn't tell anyone. So he told her, for this secret was not one which he could bear any longer. "Rhys forbid it" He said and Gwyn kept quiet. "Oh" She replied. Azriel could see the emotion on her face. Trying to figure out the reason and connecting the dots.

And then that expression came on her face and he knew she understood the reason behind it. "Oh" She said again. Azriel's thoughts started drifting back towards his darker thoughts, Elain didn't want him, he was not worthy-.

"This is exactly like a Sellyn Drake novel" Said Gwyn, for she often noticed when Azriel's thoughts went to dark places. That pulled Azriel back to the world and then he asked, confused and more focused on the conversation. "What?", "Well yeah, you know, forbidden love (she started making actions with her hands)..... They both either get together and then they both have sex at the end. The situation really is very similar cause you see I think even you and Elain will have sex-"

"GWYN" Azriel almost shouted with his eyes wide. Gwyn laughed at his shocked expression. She continued, "Well you see when a man and a woman love each other they join their bodies (starts making actions again) together and that process is known as sex-"

"I KNOW WHAT SEX IS" Azriel again said and Gwyn burst out laughing yet again. "So you do admit you and Elain will have sex?"

"I didn't say that" Azriel said and started walking in the garden and Gwyn walked beside him. "C'mon, admit it. I admit she's really hot and If I were a man I would want to have sex with her too-"

"GWYN" Azriel said, yet again. Gwyn chuckled and said, "Why are you so afraid of sex Az? Do you not have experience? I'm sure Elain can teach you really it's okay"

"I HAVE EXPERIENCE" He said and Gwyn chuckled yet again. How they were talking about this so freely, Azriel did not know. This was unchartered territory and Azriel didn't want to push Gwyn away by saying something wrong. But he didn't want to stop either.

"Illyrian babies and their masculinities" Gwyn said and shaked her head while smiling. But then she stopped and so did Azriel. Now Gwyn seriously asked him, "Do you want to date Elain?". Azriel could feel his cheeks pinken but he answered with a shy, "Yes". Then Gwyn said, "Then I take it as my responsibility to get you two together".

And then they started walking, Azriel was smiling but he could see the expression on Gwyn's face, she was trying to find a way. And though Azriel didn't want to get his hopes high, he knew Gwyn always found a way.

PS : this is not getting viral at all lol. But no worries, I'mma complete this series.
