Ty immediately started to panic.
He looked at Lyndy
She was starting to turn blue.
"MOM, CALL 911 NOW! Yelled Ty.
Then he started CPR.
Ten minutes later, at the hospital.
The doctor put Lyndy's life support on, and Ty was banished to the waiting room.
Sitting and waiting is the worst thing anyone could make him do at that moment.
His thoughts were spiralling.
"I'm a terrible father."
"Why the hell did I leave her with mom?"
"I'm going to lose my beautiful baby girl."
"How am I going to tell Amy?"
"I'm going lose her too."
Then Ty started sobbing.
5 minutes later at heartland
Amy's phone rang.
" Hello," she said.
" Ty honey, breathe and tell me what's wrong," shed Amy calmly.
"What okay? I'm getting on a plane right now," said Amy.
An hour and a half later.
Amy ran up to the reception desk at the hospital.
" hi, I'm looking for Lyndy Borden," said Amy.
" Are you related?" Asked the receptionist.
" yes, I'm her mother," said Amy.
" Unfortunately, we don't have any news yet, but the doctor should be with you shortly," said the receptionist
" Okay," said Amy, then immediately turned her attention to Ty.
" Ty," said Amy, immediately hugging him
" I'm so sorry, Amy," said Ty through tears.
" Hey, it's okay. Everything's going to be okay," said Amy trying to calm him down.
" no, it's not never should have left her there alone, but my mom had zero kid-friendly food, and I didn't want to wake Lyndy up. She was exhausted; I was exhausted; I didn't see the pills on the nightstand. I didn't even know my mom was using again," said Ty.
" Baby, look at me. This is not your fault. It was an accident," said Amy."
" It is my fault, and now we're going to lose our baby," said Ty.
" we're not going to lose our baby. She's our baby you call me stubborn all the time and have you met yourself that little girl is stronger than she looks, I promise:" said, Amy
That's when the doctor approached them.
" are you Lyndy Borden's parents? " asked the doctor.
" yes, is she okay?" Asked Amy.
" Unfortunately, your daughter has slipped into a coma," said the doctor.
" is she going to be okay?: Asked Amy.
" it's hard to say it, but if she does wake up, she's. Unfortunately, she's not going to be the same little girl you knew
W... what does that mean?" Asked Ty, his voice quiver.
