we should get back in there" said Amy.
" yeah our poor sweet girl is probably terrified" said Ty
" well I can't blame her" said Amy.
"Me either " said Ty.
Then Amy and Ty walked into lyndy's room.
Lyndy was crying.
Amy and Ty immediately rushed over to her.
"It's okay baby we're right here " said Ty kissing lyndy's forehead.
5 minutes later .
The nurse walked into lyndy's room.
She tapped lyndy on the shoulder to get her attention
Lyndy looked at the nurse.
"Hey lyndy I know you can't hear me " said the nurse tapping behind her ear.
This was the sign for deaf
The nurse continued talking.
And that's okay but I wanted you to know I'm going to take the tube out " said the nurse.
Lyndy nodded with understanding.
The nurse then prepared to take the tube out.
The process of removing the tube was not an experience the Borden family would soon forget.
It was awful but lyndy was an absolute Trooper.
Amy and Ty on the other hand were complete messes.
The process
The process was painfully slow and obviously uncomfortable.
"You're doing great baby squeeze mommy's hand"said Amy putting her hand out.
Even though Amy and Ty knew lyndy couldn't hear them it was only natural to talk to her.
A few seconds later the tube was out.
"Water " lyndy immediately begged.
Amy and Ty laughed.
"My water bottle is behind you " said Amy .
Ty grabbed Amy's water bottle from the table behind him.
He then held it for lyndy.
She almost immediately finished it.
"Wow you took care of real fast " Ty laughed.
The laughter didn't last long when he saw lyndy's face.
honey I'm sorry " said Ty softly kissing lyndy's cheek
"Do you want more water?" Asked Amy.
The nurse tapped lyndy's shoulder again.
"Do you want more drink ?" Asked the nurse simultaneously signing.
Lyndy nodded and copied the nurse.
Amy smiled "okay mommy Will get you some more water " she said lovingly brushing lyndy's head before leaving.
"Daddy?" Asked lyndy .
Ty nodded and listened intently.
"Why can't I hear anything?" Asked lyndy through tears.
Ty was at a loss for words all he could think to do was hug lyndy as tight as he could.
" Daddy I'm scared" said lyndy still crying.
" I'm so sorry " said Ty no longer able to hold back his own tears.
