Leaving the Hospital: Chapter 15

The doctor comes back with the paperwork and Amy finishes filling it out and hands it back to the doctor.

" Alright, thank you. Would it be alright if Lyndy gets a new teddy for being so brave?" The doctor asks

" Yeah, I think that would be alright." Amy said

Amy grabbed the pen and paper and wrote on it...

" Lyndy would you like to go pick out a new teddy?" Amy wrote down

Lyndy shook her head yes.

"Alright come on let's go." Amy said grabbing Lyndy's hand.

They all walked out into the hallway and Lyndy ran over to where the stuffed animals where.

" Uhh Mrs. Borden can I have a word with you?" The doctor asked

" Yeah, what's up?" Amy asked

" Before you leave I would like to show you how Lyndy's hearing aid works." The doctor said

" Ok! I am sure she's almost done picking out her stuffed animal." Amy said

Next thing Amy knew Lyndy came running up to her with a huge smile on her face.

Amy just looked at Lyndy and smiled.

Amy took Lyndy by the hand and followed the doctor into another room.

Amy took out the notepad and wrote on it...

" Lyndy honey the doctor is going to show us how to use the hearing aid. It won't hurt." Amy wrote down

Lyndy looked at it, she smiled and held up a thumbs up.

45 minutes later everything went well and Amy and Lyndy left the hospital and headed to the hotel room.

15 minutes later they made it to the hotel room. They walked in and saw Ty still asleep.

" Lyndy honey go wake up daddy and surprise him." Amy whispered

" Ok mommy." Lyndy whispered back

Lyndy tip-toed over to Ty and whispered daddy into his ear but he didn't wake up.

" Daddy!" Lyndy shouted but he still didn't wake up

Lyndy then resorted to using a pillow.

Lyndy grabbed the nearest pillow and smacked Ty on the head with it.

Ty woke up.

" Oww! That hurt" Ty said

" Hi Daddy!" Lyndy said cheerfully

" Hi Lyndy honey." Ty said

" How are you?" Ty asked

" I'm super good!" Lyndy said with a huge smile on her face

" Wait Lyndy can you hear me?" Ty asked sitting up quickly

" Ty, she got her hearing aid." Amy said
