"Olivia and Izzy, Tony and Peter and Thor and Bruce will all be going back in time to New York to retrieve the stones." Steve explained, folding his arms and inhaling deeply. It took a lot for Tony to convince the man to let Olivia go to New York with Izzy, but he had to learn to trust her. Everyone else got assigned their own places to go. Olivia couldn't remember them to save her life. She just knew that Natasha and Clint were going somewhere together. The weirdest pairing by far was Scott and a taco, but apparently he had to travel somewhere with something he loved.
Izzy had never gone back in time before, shocker, I know. And she couldn't lie and say she was okay with going. If the whole time travel thing messed up, the two of them could be stuck in New York in a time where they weren't even old enough to carry a gun. They had their plan, they had their mission, they just needed it executing perfectly.
They were all going to be sent to their assigned places first thing tomorrow morning. Izzy, still scared she might die, knew she had a bunch of things to do beforehand just in case she was to, you know, die. Olivia, however, just wanted to get the mission over and done with so she could talk to Wanda about why the hell shes been acting so weird, especially around Natasha.
Olivia was supposed to head to the training room with Izzy but the girl had ran off to God knows where, so Olivia went to the kitchen without question.
"Peter? You in here?" Izzy called out, teleporting into the science labs where Bruce and Tony usually is, but Peter likes to sneak in here to read over Tony's notes. The boy slammed the notebook down and hopped away from the chair.
"I'm s-sorry I just wanted to read over-"
"I don't care," Izzy chuckled, "I just need to talk to you."
Olivia continued making food in the kitchen until two arms snaked around her waist and a head rested on her shoulder. Olivia giggled, and looked down at her.
"What're you doing?" The brunette asked, now forgetting her food-making and turning around to wrap Natasha in a full hug.
"I just wanted to say hi." She cooed, while the two swayed slightly in each-others arms.
"Well, hi." Olivia grinned, giggling sweetly and kissing the top of Natasha's forehead, making her blush.
"Are you ready for tomorrow?" She asked, a desperation dancing in her eyes. All she wished for was that Olivia would be okay, or at least alive. Olivia nodded, holding Natasha's face between her hands.
"I was supposed to be doing some training with Izzy but she's gone rogue."
"Well, maybe I could replace her?"
Meanwhile, Peter and Izzy were admiring all the different projections that had detailed profiles of everyone's suits. Luckily, Izzy downloaded her projects into the chip in her eye so she was able to project them as well. There were the designs of her and Olivia's suits, and Olivia's shield which Shuri actually helped out with.
"How do you get all of this out of your eye?" Peter asked excitedly, turning to Izzy and grabbing her face, pulling their faces close so he could inspect her eyes. Izzy grew hot and a temptation soon began to grow.
"I mean, you have beautiful eyes but like...how do you even do-" Izzy cut him off by planting her lips onto his. Taking him by surprise as he found stability in the table behind him. No girl had willingly kissed Peter Parker, so this was a new experience for him. After time he relaxed into the kiss, his hands twitching to reach forward for Izzys waist. They pulled away, and Izzy turned beat red, her eyes wide and wanting to run away from the situation. But this is something she wanted to do before she potentially died.
"D-D-Did you mean to do that?" Peter asked, a sinking feeling forming in Izzys stomach. He never liked her, she knew it. He wants to never see her again and-
They kissed again, this time with Peter leading. He knew where his hands should go and Izzy couldn't help but grin against his lips, wrapping her arms around his neck as they smooched.
While that was happening, grunts and groans were echoing around the training room, with Natasha's legs wrapped around Olivia's head, trying to slam her to the ground but Olivia flipped, laying Natasha on the ground. The Russian let out a suppressed groan, before Olivia offered her hand to help her up.
"Not many people can get past my leg wrap." Natasha smirked, buckling her knees to prepare to fight again.
"Not many people have had your legs wrapped around their head in different circumstances." Olivia smirked.
"You're disgusting." Natasha rolled her eyes, swinging her leg round to kick, only for Olivia to duck it and then spring up the moment it passed her head, grabbing the woman's ankle and pulling it, slamming her to the floor. Olivia instantly pinned her down with her wrists above her head.
"And you're not getting past me anytime soon." Olivia panted out, reaching down and stealing a kiss from her. Natasha didn't reply, her eyes looked sort of awe-struck as she attempted to regulate her breathing.
"Will you be my girlfriend?" Her question took them both by surprise, with Olivia cocking her head to the side and Natasha's eyes widening, not believing what she had just asked.
"Are you really asking me this?" Olivia just need a justification. Natasha nodded, letting out a breathless chuckle.
"Of course I will."
Izzy and Peter continued to discuss all the different projections in great detail, taking every other five seconds to kiss again. Izzy smiled to herself, stumbling over her words sometimes but Peter just found her cuter.
"I'm hoping to see you after tomorrow." Peter sighed, his head dropping low. Izzy turned to him, placed her hands on his shoulder which made him lift his head.
"You're going to see me tomorrow, okay? We'll be together again." Their foreheads rested against one another, breaths mingling. Peter leaned in and kissed her for a short moment.
"You don't know how long I've wanted this to happen." Peter whispered, his voice still sad. He's had a crush on Izzy ever since Tony introduced her, and he'd be damned if something happened to her the moment they get together.
Natasha and Olivia had finished their celebration of the labelling of their relationship. They were all ready for tomorrow, knowing that they had a reason to return.
