Olivia went to her room, reaching to open the door but heard her name being called from miles away. Izzy was running down the hallway, pushing Olivia into her room and slamming the door behind her.
"Woah, watch where you're pushing!" Olivia groaned, holding her ribs. Izzy was too excited to care about her friends injuries.
"Guess what I just did!" She squealed, running around the room and jumping on Olivia's bed.
"Cure cancer? I don't know! You weren't at training."
"Sorry about that, truly am. But guess what I just did!"
"What?!" Olivia yelled, getting slightly impatient.
"I! Kissed! Peter!" Izzy yelled, fist bumping the air and flopping onto Olivia's mattress. Olivia dropped her face and her mouth gaped. She couldn't believe it, her friend actually kissed someone. Even more, she initiated it.
Izzy explained what happened, with Peter wanting to see the chip in her eye and then boom. Kissing! Olivia sat and absorbed the information, slapping Izzy's arm in excitement.
"Have you made it official?!" Olivia asked, with Izzy nodding, followed by another load of screaming.
"How about you? What did you do while I was gone?" Izzy asked, earning a mischievous grin on Olivia's lips.
"Well..."
"Oh god, what?"
"It's not even bad!" Olivia defended, regaining her posture before telling her friend everything that happened in the training room, with Olivia beating her up and then pinning her to the floor and then Natasha just blurting out the question. Izzy squealed, slapping Olivia's arm in excitement.
"Finally! I thought you two were just going to shag until the end of forever!" Izzy beamed, happy for her best friend.
After their throats were sore from excitement, Izzy teleported back home and Olivia went to bed with Natasha in her arms, all ready and waiting for tomorrow.
The machinery they would be using to send the nine back in time laid in-front of them. Izzy's hands were trembling badly, but Peter had his arms around her shoulders to try and comfort her. Olivia and Natasha stayed together, with Natasha hugging Olivia's waist and Olivia having her arms around Natasha's shoulders. Everyone that wasn't going stood from afar, not wanting to be hit by anything that could possibly send them as well. Bruce had finished setting up the technology before joining the eight.
"Are we ready?" Tony asked, with everyone nodding. Olivia looked behind her, seeing Wanda snuggled up in Vision's arms, sniffling quietly. Natasha followed Olivia's eyes, looking to the witch.
"She must be worried about Izzy." The redhead mumbled.
"Yeah, I'm sure she is. It ain't easy watching your best friend go somewhere knowing they might not come back." Olivia glanced over to Peter, then dropped her head. Natasha stood on her tiptoes, and pressed a kiss to Olivia's cheek.
"We're all going to be fine. He's going to be fine. He looks like he's found more than one reason to return." That caught Izzys attention. Natasha winked to her, making her blush.
"Remember, one shot, that's all you've got in. You go in, you get out." Steve said, patting his daughters shoulder. Olivia nodded, and the nine began to make their way over to the platform.
Izzy and Olivia stood together, nodded to each-other and just waited to get zapped. Natasha looked to Olivia, telling her to meet her back here. Another way of saying 'don't die'. Peter kissed Izzys cheek before resuming his place. Scott clutched the taco tightly to his chest. Olivia glanced to her dad and Izzy looked to Tony, with the two men just nodding to them. They would see each-other on the other side.
"Let's do this thing!" Scott exclaimed, he was way too excited. Izzy nearly felt a panic attack coming on, but was zapped away before she could even think about it.
Olivia's feet landed firmly on the ground as she pushed the metal disc in her chest, her suit forming onto her body. They landed in a place that didn't look anything like New York. To their knowledge at least. The sky was purple and there just rocks laying around everywhere. Did New York get into an apocalypse?
"Okay, I think we might've come to the wrong place." Olivia said, her voice wavering slightly. Izzy turned to her with pursed lips and a 'really?' look. She pushed the button on her shoulder and had her suit morph into her body. God knows she needed it.
Her breathing irregulated and she felt a panic attack coming on. Olivia, trying to comfort her, placed her hands on her friends shoulders and shook her back to reality. Izzy knows something Olivia doesn't.
"Where the hell are we, Iz? Izzy!"
Izzy didn't answer.
"Th-This is clearly a glitch. We're in the wrong place, we don't know how to get a stone from here."
"I know this place..." Izzy said, tears forming in her eyes. Olivia grew concerned, and rather frustrated. She kicked over and rock, split one open with her shield to relieve some sort of anger.
"Where! Are! We?!" Olivia screamed, veins throbbing out of her neck. She silenced herself when a traumatised look from Izzy sent chills down her spine.
"Where are we?" Olivia asked again, a lot calmer this time. Izzy panted out, a tear dripping from her eye as she managed to form the word.
"Vormir."
