They all entered back into the compound, Olivia limping and being helped in by Izzy. Yelena looked to Natasha, who kept her head down and wiped her tears. She needed to apologise to her sister, but Wanda had taken her attention and taken her back to Olivia's room. Olivia pressed on her chest plate and her black suit retracted. She dropped onto a seat at the table and held her side. Bruce instantly came to her side and assisted her in going over to the labs where he would patch her up.
Izzy went to the kitchen and wrapped her arms around Peter, who was still shaking from all the adrenaline of previous events. Steve walked back in, and threw his shield aside, looking defeated. Yelena unbuttoned her belt and threw it onto the kitchen table, sitting down and dropping her head in her hands.
"I really messed up." Yelena groaned, catching Izzy's attention. Izzy sat by her, and placed her hand on her shoulder.
"Olivia can't control these powers hydra gave her."
"It shouldn't have made my sister tell her to kill her. They were angry at each-other...maybe that triggered something?" Yelena suggested, shrugging off Izzy's hand.
"I'll look into it with Bruce. Don't worry about it."
Olivia was being treated in the lab, her stomach wrapped up in bandages as she winced and hissed at every move Bruce made, even if it was nowhere near her. She looked over to the door, seeing Natasha leaning against the door frame and looking to her with concern. Olivia smiled reassuringly, and Bruce noticed the tension between the two.
"I'll...give you guys a minute." He exited the room and left the two girls.
"Looks like we can't cuddle for a while." Olivia joked, gesturing to her bandages. Natasha chuckled, walking up to the platform where her injured girlfriend laid.
"It's a small price to pay." Natasha stroked Olivia's forehead with her thumb and looked down on her, grinning to herself. Olivia's smile soon died down as she took Natasha's hand into her own.
"I don't know what happened out there, Nat, all I remember is being angry at you. I'm sorry."
"Don't even think about that now, just get yourself better, then I can yell at you."
"Yell at me for what?" Olivia asked, making Natasha scoff with anger.
"For kissing my sister!"
"I did-!" Olivia tried to sit up but the ache of her side caused her to cry out in pain as she laid back down, "didn't. I didn't kiss Yelena. Why would you think that?!"
"I saw it on the cameras, Liv. Izzy saw it too."
"You watched me on the cameras?!" Olivia yelled.
"I wanted to know where you went so I could tell you that Yelena lied! I didn't think she'd be the first person you'd run to to get revenge on me."
"I didn't kiss her!"
"She didn't." A voice intervened. The two girls looked to the door and saw Izzy stood there with Yelena cowering behind her.
"What?" Natasha asked.
"I tried to tell you before you left. They didn't kiss. They got out of the fountain and that's when you saw Olivia outside." Izzy explained, lying to save Yelena from the wrath of her sister. Yelena nodded guiltily, trying to smile.
"I'm sorry." She apologised. Natasha just nodded, looked back to Olivia and pressed a kiss to her forehead.
"Rest now." She whispered to her girlfriend before leaving the room, walking past the two. Yelena reached out and grabbed Natasha's arm only to be pinned against the wall, her eyes staring at the snarling redhead.
"Don't talk to me."
"Okay, lets just-" Izzy sparked her powers and wrapped them around Natasha, dragging her away and letting Yelena drop to the floor. They both looked to Izzy, who just rolled her eyes and scoffed.
"You'd all be dead without me."
