Izzy nodded, and Peter sat by her, twiddling his thumbs and waiting for the right moment to clear his throat. Izzy soon grew impatient and was tempted to get up and leave, but that's when Peter spoke up.

"I'm sorry for being mad at you. I've just...I've never lost anyone other than my parents and...when they died I was mad. Really mad. I thought I had to be the same this time." He mumbled, pouting slightly. Izzy turned to him, placed a hand on his cheek. He lifted his head and showed his glassy eyes, crying quietly as Izzy sighed. She wanted to be angry at him, but something didn't let her.

"Don't shut me out next time, okay?" Izzy asked. Tom nodded, and brought their foreheads together, breaths mingling.

"I'm so sorry." Peter shook his head, trying to bring a smile to his lips. Izzy grinned, leaned in and pressed a soft kiss to his lips.

"Don't you start feeling sorry, we're okay now."

"I know but I shouldn't have gone against you-"

"Peter, forget about it, okay? It happened, Olivia's back now and everyone's happy."

"But-" Izzy pressed a finger to his lips.

"No buts. I don't want another sorry word coming out of your mouth."

"Okay then...let me take you out! On a proper date, to show how sorry I am." Peter said, his head perking up like a little chipmunk, doing that pursed smile that Izzy loves.

"Okay, one date won't hurt."

Wanda was watching from the front door, leaning against the door frame as squinting slightly to get a better view. She saw the two kiss and make up, but an anger still rumbled through her. She couldn't believe all these people had turned on her by the drop of a hat. Steve, she could understand a little, but Nat? Peter? What was there reasoning other than they have pent up anger that they need to take out on someone? Those were her thoughts on it anyway.

Olivia and Natasha spent the rest of the afternoon in bed (A/N: mind out of the gutter you dirty sod) with Olivia stroking Natasha's hair, brushing it out with her fingers. Natasha was curled up in her lap, purring anytime chills ran down her spine. She was almost asleep, clutching onto Olivia's arm until Yelena decided to throw the door open, a bottle of vodka in hand.

"I have come to apologise for offending you!" Though the subject of her sentence was a little negative, she announced it so pleasantly, probably from the alcohol coursing through her. Natasha sprung up and slid off of Olivia's lap, blushing in embarrassment.

"Oh you're having snuggly time with your special friend? Don't worry, I won't interrupt." Yelena chuckled, taking another swig from the bottle and turning to exit the room.

"Yelena." Natasha called out, sitting up fully and bringing her knees to her chest, catching the attention of the blonde. "She's my girlfriend."

"Ugh! I always thought I was going to get a partner before you." She groaned, walking towards and sitting by the bed, right by Olivia's feet.

"You two aren't...?" Yelena tried to finish the sentence with grotesque hand gestures. Natasha pulled a grimace and pulled her sisters hands apart. Olivia chuckled slightly, noticing how embarrassed her girlfriend was.

"You're drunk. Go to bed." Natasha ordered. Yelena shrugged, then began to crawl up the bed. Natasha yelled 'no' in protest, but Yelena had already flopped onto Olivia's side and was knocked flat out. Natasha sighed, and Olivia tried to stifle her laughter.

"You going to help me get her off?" The redhead asked.

"She looks comfortable." Olivia said, shrugging her shoulders. Natasha shook her head in disapproval, so Olivia slid out of bed, making sure not to wake Yelena and taking the vodka bottle which she was drooling over.

"I think we should take that as her apology." Olivia chuckled, taking a swig from it. Natasha snatched it from her, drinking from it.

Peter and Izzy walked back into the compound hand in hand. Peter was grinning widely and earned a nod from T'Challa, making Izzy blush. Shuri winked at them both, which would've been fine if she was actually subtle at winking. They walked past Olivia's room as the door opened, with the two girls walking through. Olivia grinned widely, happy the two had sorted everything out.

"Looks as though you two sorted everything out." She beamed, with Peter nodding.

"He's taking me on a date!" Izzy exclaimed, with Natasha 'aww'ing and Olivia groaning.

"That's so cliche." Olivia groaned, with a smitten Natasha cuddling onto her shoulder and looking up to her girlfriend.

"No, it's cute! You never take me on any dates."

"Because they're stupid."

"They're not stupid!"

Peter turned to Izzy and grinned mischievously, "I think we should leave them to argue, don't you?" He whispered with a smirk on his face. Izzy grew a little hot under the collar and nodded, being lead back to Peters room.
