Chapter Thirteen - Where's the Baker?

Gerard's POV:

Everyone seemed so happy now. I know I was supposed to make me and Sophie a romantic meal but this seems better. We're all getting to know each other and exchanging jokes, we're all laughing and smiling. It just seems too good to be true.

"Uh guys" Bob spoke up and our attention when towards him. "Has anyone noticed someone's missing?" He looked worried.

"No" Frank whispered looking around. "Why"

"My bitch has gone" He frowned and crossed his arms, "You know, the Baker!" I immediately stood up and nodded to all the guys to start looking.

"I'll stay here and look after the girls, make sure none of them try the same tactic" I glared at them all. "Mikey, you go check in the house. Bob, go look around the outside of the house and Frank take the car and check 5 miles out" They nodded and ran off. "Fuck!" I slammed my fists on the table making everyone jump.

"Gerard..." Sophie stood up and placed her hand on me. Why was she being nice all of a sudden? Maybe just to calm me down. "Please,  calm down. I'm sure they'll find him" She soothed me and I relaxed a little nodding.

"All of you follow me" I growled, trying to take control of the situation. I mean, there was more of them than me but I was more strong. I don't think they'd dare make a move. I started walking, making sure they was following closely and walked to the basement door. "Right, Shay and Bex I need you to go down there and pick up a lamp, you'll both need to carry it cause it's heavy. Jenny I need you to carry the box labelled 'Band'. You think you can do that?" I looked at them and they all nodded, scarcely walking down the steps and into the basement.

"What about me?" Sophie asked crossing her arms. I smirked and her and slammed the basement door shut, locking it and putting the key down my pants. "What the fuck!?" She shouted and banged on the basement door. I heard the girls ran up the stairs and bang on the over side but it was no use. 

"You're going to be extra nice to me if you want them to live" I growled and held her tight. I had so much rage in me that I couldn't control. I knew I was hurting her, she was struggling and crying but I just couldn't stop.

"Gerard stop!" She cried but I just held her arms tighter to the point where she fell onto her knee's begging me to stop. "You said you wouldn't hurt me!" She shouted and I looked at her confused, then stopped. What the hell was I doing? I couldn't make her trust me like this! I dropped to my knee's and pulled her close kissing her head.

"I'm so sorry" I whispered caressing her cheek softly. "Im so so sorry" She cried into me and I felt my heart shatter. "I couldn't control myself...The thing with the Baker..."

"The baker isn't a problem" Bob whispered from the front door. "I just found him"

"What? Where is he now?" I raised an eyebrow and looked at Bob's hands. They was covered in blood and by the looks of it, fresh blood. "Bob...What did you do"

"He's dead" He frowned and my heart skipped a beat. He actually killed someone? I know I was chucking death threats here and there but would I actually do it? I looked down and Sophie and my heart shattered even more, maybe I could. Death wouldn't be my intentions but what If I lose control of myself like that again? I could never forgive myself if I killed Sophie, I can't forgive myself after hurting her. "I'll burn the body" Bob whispered walking off and I felt Sophie vibrating? She was terrified.

"H..He's dead!?" She squirmed in my arms and I hushed her shaking my head. "He's dead Gerard! Oh my God...You actually..."

"It wasn't me who did it, I swear to you I didn't tell them to do it and I can promise you that they won't lay a finger on you" I looked into her tear stained eyes.

"They don't need to, you're the one that does that for them" She whispered and I closed my eyes tight. I've completely fucked this relationship up. "I just want to go home" She mumbled to herself covering her face with her arms whilst curling up into a ball. I did feel sorry for her, I truly did and even though I knew I was hurting her by keeping her and her friends here, I just couldn't let her go.
