Isn't it crazy?

Chapter Eight- All Planned

Bex's Pov

"Now, I don't understand why you would want to steal my stuff" Ray frowned at me, glaring. He wouldn't take his eyes off me!

"Are you still on about the whole cup cake stealing thing?" I sighed.

"It's a serious offence! You could be arrested for theft!"

"And you could be arrested for kidnapping...and tons of other stuff" I poker faced him and he whispered 'Oh yeah' looking down.

"Don't touch my cupcakes" He muttered, "Or I'll bite you" I stared at him, what a weird dude.

"I was hungry, I'm sorry" I looked down and the next thing I knew, I was in his arms.

"OH IT'S OKAY" he patted my head, "IT'S FINE I SWEAR SH SH IT'LL ALL BE FINE!" I covered my ears laughing a little.

"Why are you shouting!?"

"SH SH DON'T CRY!" He rocked me gently and I began laughing uncontrollably. I KNEW this guy was crazy but, come on!

"Fine, fine! I won't cry" I managed to choke out whilst trying to silence my laughter. He looked down at me, it looked like he was happy because he managed to make me laugh so much. He looked proud.

"Good, I don't like it when beautiful girls cry" He whispered, smiling softly. I had to bite my lip to try not to explode from the cuteness he was giving off.

"Ehem" I heard someone clear their throat and glanced at the door to see Sophie standing there, arms crossed. She looked slightly confused.

"You okay?" I whispered and she nodded.

"I uh, need to speak to you in private" She glanced at Ray then back to me, "Girl problems" She whispered making Ray's cheeks immediately turn ruby red. Here's the thing, when Sophie says 'Girl problems' it normally means that she needs to speak to me in private about something very serious and important. It's also used as a getaway when we're with men. Well, it would be used as a getaway if we had the confidence to even look at men.

"Can i go?" I asked Ray who nodded quickly. I smiled and got up, walking out the door with her. We ended up walking to the kitchen, the strange thing about this was that Sophie was looking around suspiciously. "Sophie, what's wrong?" I asked as she sat down.

"Please tell me I'm not the only one who thinks none of this adds up" She whispered looking at me scared, "I really don't want to be going crazy so early in the kidnapping"

"Calm down and explain" I sat next to her.

"Well, have you ever heard of an asylum in our town? Matter of fact, have you ever heard of an asylum within a twenty mile radius of our town?" She asked and I shook my head, she has a point. "There's nothing on the news about any people escaping. They should be a risk to society, they should have sent a warning signal out"

"What are you trying to get to?"

"I swear I saw him before. I swear I saw Gerard around school. He was just lurking and staring, people made fun of him. He only hovered around the school for a few days but I know a face when I see one.  He was watching me, hell, I thought i was being paranoid but now I know. Becky, I don't think they ever went to an asylum"

"Huh?" I raised an eyebrow, "Why would you fake going to an asylum?"

"I don't know, but I think this was all planned" She looked at me worried. "I think they planned this for years, first it was Gerard, then he started to round up people. I don't know, maybe they knew we were soft and come on, if we think they're insane and act all nice and cute then we'd fall into their arms? Or maybe they are crazy but they didn't go to an asylum. Oh I'm so scared Becky, they lied to us. I know they did. I just don't understand why. I swear, they're normal, they're just acting!"

I kept quiet, taking this information in. It made sense, one minute they was crazy, the next normal. I mean, sometimes I'd see them act normal when they thought we wasn't around. This whole situation was so crazy and confusing.

"Well well" I heard a deep voice from the doorway. "Someone's found out a little too much" Gerard stood there, arms crossed frowning. "I guess we have to do something about this little situation"
