The next day was a Saturday. Bright and early, Reki, Langa, and I decided to do some training. It was all since Langa had his big beef against Miya today.

While we skated into S to practice, Reki and Langa were talking about how S and it's rules.

"That's ridiculous. They should just leave the gates open." Langa said to Reki.

"You're not even supposed to talk about the course existing. Why would they keep it open for all to see?" Reki asked him.

I wasn't really listening to their conversation. I was spaced out in my own world.

"Niki, did you hear me?" Reki asked.

I suddenly perked up. I snapped out of the spacing out that I was doing.

"Huh? Sorry, I was kinda out there for a second." I scratched the back of my head. "What did you say, Reki?"

"I asked you if you think Langa has what it takes to beat someone like Miya. You know he slaughtered Shadow, right?"

I put my hand on my chin, thinking for a second. "I'm not sure. If you wanna know my real opinion, the answer is..."

Langa's eyes lit up a bit. He was excitedly waiting with anticipation.

"...no. The answer is no, I really don't think you can beat Miya."

Langa's mood immediately dropped. He was disappointed now.

"But, I really don't know your skills, so I can't say for sure. All I know is..."

"You never know the fate of a match until it's over."

Reki stared at me with sparkling eyes, while Langa just kept his same face.

Reki couldn't handle staring at Langa anymore. He started bursting out laughing.

"Langa! Your face! It's so funny!" Reki laughed.

"What do you mean?" Langa gave him a confused look.

Langa started to skate back and forth on his board, I gave it a quick look.

"Check out that RSP!" Reki smiled. "It's doing well out here."

"What's an RSP?" I tilted my head at Reki.

"The name of Langa's board, bulit by yours truly!" Reki pointed a thumb towards himself. "RSP stands for the Reki-Royal Straight Prince Marrou!"

My eyes dropped. "Real great name, Reki. Just wonderful." I said sarcastically, then skated up the wall and did a quick trick for practice.

"Who the heck is Prince Marrou?" Langa asked with my same face.

"I heard that's what the girls call you! Prince?" Reki pointed at him.

"They certainly don't..." Langa said.

"Pretty sure they do." Reki then pointed to me. "Right, Niki? Don't the girls call Langa Prince?"

"The girls in my class don't even talk about Langa." I skated back and forth. "They're more interested in third years, such as Nakaya and Yamamoto."

"Man...I can never compete with those guys!" Reki sighed, holding the back of his head.

Suddenly, just like that, someone skated in between Reki and Langa and past me. It happened so fast, I couldn't even see who it was. They almost made Reki fall off his skateboard.

The person skated around and stopped, facing us. I knew that hoodie as soon as I saw it.

I had seen it the day before.
