Overview:  How will you and your fellow Alexandrians react when Negan and his Saviours turn up on your doorstep?

You heard the sounds of cars coming down the road and stopping outside of Alexandria's front gate. You and Rosita exchanged looks before you and Spencer walked a little closer to the hung material against the meshed fence. It was the Saviours, there was no doubt about that.

You watched in suspenseful silence as the shadow of a man appeared on the other side of the fence, whistling his way to the center before hitting the mesh with a baseball bat. There was only one person you knew who would approach his enemy's territory like that: Negan.

"Little pig, little pig! Let me in!" he enthusiastically called out.

Spencer shot you a confused look as you nodded to him. He walked over to the gate and, with all his strength, pulled the material part of the fence across to reveal the tall figure of Negan on the opposite side, a big grin on his face.

Negan had Lucille over his shoulder and seeing him again made you uneasy. It was difficult to look at him, not only because of what he had done to your people, but also because he was, as much as you hated to admit it, brutally handsome.

Spencer stood, obviously perplexed, when he asked, "Who are you?"

"Oh, you better be joking!" Negan replied, clearly loving every minute of it. "Negan, Lucille. I know I had to make a pretty strong first impression."

It was then that Rick strolled up behind Spencer, glaring at Negan, who simply grinned in response. However his teeth hid behind his lips when they lost their smiley shape. "Do not make me have to ask," he said in a threatening tone.

"You said a week. You're early," Rick responded, opening the main gate.

You all took in the sight of the many Saviours waiting outside, along with a bruised up Daryl. Your heart sunk at the sight of him in the dirty, run down sweat suit he was in. However, your eyes drew back to Negan, as he took out a walker that had come up between the Saviours' cars.

"Haha! Easy peasy, lemon squeezy!" he yelled, playfully. Despite the fact that he was such an asshole who liked killing people, you had to hold back your smile at his childlike behaviour.

Your actions were short lived when Negan gave Rick Lucille to hold and you could sense Rick's uneasiness at the bat and you didn't blame him, considering what Negan had used it for.

When Negan walked past Rick, it was then that his eyes met yours and his already existing grin grew wider when he sauntered over to you. You had your arms crossed but in a way that wasn't exactly tense; you didn't want him to overpower you, so you tried to maintain your emotions for the most part.

"Well, hello, doll," he said wittily. You noticed him studying your face for a moment before continuing. "Oh, you were there, weren't you? Shit, I remember you! You were the one who hardly moved."

You managed to smile gently at him. "Hello, Negan."

It was obvious that you sparked an intrigue inside of him because he kept his eyes locked on yours while his grin grew so large that you thought it would overtake his entire face.

"Boy, am I glad you remember who the fuck I am," Negan responded to your address. The Saviours began to enter Alexandria and Negan also took note of it, slowly backing away from you to return to the front of his group. Before turning his head, though, he winked at you, which caught you off guard. Was he flirting with you?

The rest of the day seemed to drift by as you and your fellow Alexandrians watched helplessly at the Saviours emptying your houses. It seemed like they were taking almost every single piece of furniture rather than just half. They didn't take any of your food, thank god, but even still, it was starting to get to you that Negan was just showcasing his current authority with your group.

Negan was living his best life the entire time he and his Saviours were there. He kept cracking terrible jokes that were both offensive and badly timed, but that didn't stop him from striking terror into your people. You, on the other hand, kept yourself to yourself, for the most part, not wanting to pick a fight for no reason. You had seen how the Saviours worked and you certainly didn't want anything bad to happen while they were there.

As the evening began, the Saviours were still there for some reason. You thought it was just because Negan really wanted to assert his dominance over your group. Rick was trying hard to keep it together but it was evident that Negan had gotten to him. You felt bad for him; the amount of unfortunate shit Rick had been through made you remember that those events are what made him who he was and it made him strong. Negan, however, seemed to enjoy degrading him, taking every opportunity to rub it in Rick's face.

Rick was sent out by Negan to scavenge for more things and seeing as you were probably one of the least important people in Alexandria at that moment, you retired to your house, a couple of blocks down from the main gate. However, when you heard your front door knocking, you were surprised to see Negan standing on the other side of the glass with Lucille in his hand. With his toothy grin, he leaned back a bit when you opened the door.

"Mind if I come in, doll?", he asked, charmingly.

"You're still here?" You asked, confused at his presence.

"You sound like you're surprised," Negan replied, grinning widely. His smile only grew wider when you stood aside as he casually crossed over the threshold, and you took in the fragrance of his cologne. You found it odd that Negan wanted to go to your house and not Rick's. It didn't bother you; it just made you a bit uneasy.

Besides, your house wasn't that different from everyone else's. It had almost the same layout, the same features, the same furniture. Well, before the Saviours took most of the furniture, anyway.

Negan paced around the main floor with you trailing behind him. He checked out the kitchen sink and even the cupboards. There were a few cans of tomato sauce and packages of spaghetti. The second he saw the spaghetti, Negan smiled widely, and grabbed them to place on the kitchen counter. He looked at you. "I hope you like spaghetti."

You shrugged, not knowing how else to respond at that time. You could easily berate him if you wanted to but you'd seen how he was when he was pissed off and you really didn't want to bring that side of him out right now.

You eventually ended up leading him through every room, showing him the empty spaces left by the Saviours. Even though there wasn't much to look at, you could tell Negan was enjoying being on a tour of your house; a grin was planted on his lips for the entire time.

When you were ascending the stairs to the top floor, you could hear Negan stop behind you. Confused, you turned to face him as he stood at the bottom of the stairs.

He scratched his head with the end of Lucille. "You know, I figured, since it seems like Rick the Prick is going to be gone a while, I might just stay here until he comes back with all my shit."

Your eyes went wide. "Here? As in... here in my house?"

"Yeah. I sent my Saviours back to our place but I'm going to stay here tonight just to keep an eye on you people," he casually answered. "Tomorrow, they'll come back so we can finish collecting all of the wonderful shit you guys have in this goldmine of yours."

You hesitated at his words, not wanting to say something to make him angry. "There is an empty house a of couple doors down, if you'd prefer to be on your own."

He was silent for a moment as his eyes stared expressionless at you. "No. I'm gonna stay here. Does that bother you?" he asked, his tone calm.

"No," you replied quickly. The fact that you answered him so fast made a grin appear on his lips.

Why did he take such an interest in you all of a sudden? It's not that you felt unsafe with Negan; he seemed to like you enough. But the second Rick was to return to Alexandria, you knew you would feel a lot safer.
