Present

The football match is very thrilling. I am not a very big fan of sports except sprinting and badminton but yet watching this match has me on the edge as well.
I never knew Abhimanyu plays football, and that too so well.

It's funny how we have known eachother since we were kids, but there are many things I don't know about Abhimanyu.

"Woahhhh!" The crowd cheers when the blue team which is Abhimanyu's team scores a goal. A tall, green eyed guy scored the goal and judging by the fact that everyone is cheering "Rishabh." I am guessing that's his name.

The match goes on for some more minutes and the score board is on a tie of 2 all. When the last thirty seconds are left Abhimanyu manages to steal the ball from a player of the opposing team and kicks it right in the goal.

"Yay!!! Abhimanyu!" The crowd goes wild. I watch as the members of the blue team fist bump, high five and do all other weird things guys do to celebrate. The adrenaline pumping through me makes me jump out of my seat and cheer too, "Abhimanyu!" .

When he hears me, he turns around and starts walking towards me, abandoning his teammates with whom he was celebrating seconds ago.

Maybe it's the adrenaline and testosterone pumping through him after playing such an intense match but he steps onto the sidelines where the audience are and stops just in front of me. And In one smooth unexpected motion he picks me up in his arms and twirls me around. For a second I am shocked. But, I decide to shut my brain for two minutes and just revel in the moment. I laugh and giggle as he twirls me making me dizzy in the best kind of way. Even after he sets me down, I don't withdraw my hands from around his neck and neither does he remove his hands from my waist. We stand in that position for a bit, wrapped up in eachother.

Our stance is broken when I hear the loud chorus of the crowd yelling "Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!"

His cheeks redden with probable embarassment, telling anyone who'll see that he is blushing. I remove my hands from him and he does the same. The crowd sighs in disappointment.

"The Blue team is the winner! I request all of the members of the blue team to come and collect their medals!" The middle aged man from ealier announces.

All the team members make their way to collect the medals and the crowd gets distracted, fortunately forgetting about chanting "kiss". Once the medals have been given everyone returns back inside. The competition of brisk walking had also taken place simultaneously with the football, a few people congratulate the winners of the brisk walking before going back to the seating area.

"The next event is lemon and spoon, anyone who is interested please come up here." The announcement is made and many intrested participants make their way to the designated area. I pull out my phone and scroll through my emails.

"Hey!" a young, petite girl, with shoulder length hair that has red highlights in them says to me as she takes a seat beside me. She extends her hand "I am Pratyusha."

"Hi...?" I reply awkwardly. The girl is too cheerful for her own good.

"I had a request for you." She says coming straight to the point.
"You are Abhimanyu sir's wife, which means you probably know Raj Khandelwal and I need you to-" She rattles on.

"Woah! Wait up. I don't know who you are talking about." I say cutting her off.

"What?" She gasps. "Abhimanyu and Raj are best friends, how on earth do you not know him?"

It's a long story babe. "I have heard of him, but never met him." I tell her. She opens her phone and types something into it and then shoves it in my direction.
