(Y/n)'s pov:

I ran home from my band practice to get back, it was almost time for Luz to come back for a few hours to visit. I changed clothes before headed to Luz's mom house where I knew she'd be. I walked through the door and greeted her mom.

"Hola, it's good to see you." She gretted me back I sat down on the couch and turned the TV on. "Do you know when she's getting here?"

"No, but it should be very soon, she texted me not to long ago, so she must at least be back on earth." I sighed.

"Ugh she takes forever!"

"Its good she has a friend like you."

"WHERES MY BESTIE!?" I hear Luz's voice basically scream from the front door. I ran to her and tackled her to the ground. "I'm so happy you came to visit, I'm so lonely and my boyfriend is a asshole." She pushed me away.

"Your still with that guy?" She asked disappointed.

"Yeah, he kinda said he'd kill me if I didn't stay with him so, for my safety I'm staying with him." I tried covering up my pain and tears.

"Oh he'll nah, that's it I'm killing him!" She stood up and started walking away from the house I ran after her and pulled her into the house and lucked the door.

"God's have the boiling isles changed you into a murderer now luz?"

"No it hasn't I'm still a witch in training!"

"Yeah okay. Now tell me whats been going on with you, you look different."

"Ugh I'm tried," she very dramatically fell into my arms.

"I feel you on that." I dropped her but she catches herself. "What are you a cat?" I asked and she smirked.

"Maybe," she made a finger gun and put it under her chin. "Oh but I do have some new things to tell you. But first how your band." I sighed.

"Good, but I hate my co-workers and my other band mates, they all want me to be so perfect but sometimes I just need a break. Honestly I just need a changed. Maybe move away from here." I sighed again. "But tell me about the boiling isles."

"Well I'm now the dummer of a very popular and famous band in the boiling isles." My eyes start widen.

"Holy shit really but I thought you were always so shy."

"Yeah well I also know the people in the band very well."

"That makes sense, now. I wish I could go there and see everything, but my boyfriend hates that I'm here. So I should get going." I looked at Luz and I could swear I saw a light bulb pop up from onto of her head.

"What if you left with me and just didn't come back? Unless it's to visit family like I do." My eyes widen. "That will also get you out of the abusive relationship and your band that you hate."

"That could work. But I don't know how I'll live there or eat or anything like that."

"I got that covered. Now let's go get your stuff, break up with that jerk and tell your family by, cause Eda only keeps the portal open for like 3 hours." She pushed me out, and before I knew it I was at my boyfriends house. I walked in with Luz following behind me. I went to his room and opened it. My eyes widen when I saw some girl blowing my boyfriend.

"We're done! And you can't threaten me cause I'm not staying here any longer!" I yelled and slammed his house me and Luz grabbed my stuff from my apartment. My parents were on vacation so I left them a voice-mail letting them know.
