17: Things Can Get Worse (short chapter)

This chapter is dedicated to Dini6621 who gave me ideas for the book. Please feel free to give me ideas. Also my comment sections on all of my books make my day cause their so funny, so please if you have a funny reaction or just wanna say something funny please do, it makes me smile, which is something I'm having a hard time doing... someone I've known since I was a baby, killed himself on the 29th of October and I'm not taking it well, no one in my family is. So please be patient with me atm and I know I ask that of you guys a lot but each time I have a reason. Also according to yall my books are worth waiting for 😇 which makes me happy.

(Y/n)'s pov:

It was just after a show, the VIP guests were coming and meeting us. I was signing autographs and taking pictures with so many people. Then a man stepped up and got on one knee, he took my hand and placed a kiss on it.

"I've waited so long to meet you." He said to me and started talking to me. Going on and on about how he's been to all of our shows, never missing one. I see bre run through the crowd of people.

"Can I please have your autograph (y/n)?" He asked me just as Bre got to me.

"Yes just give me one moment." I looked at Bre.

"Mom, it's Adora. I don't know what's going on she just started breathing heavily, she was crying saying she was in pain then she passed out, please help me I don't have any idea what to do." Bre was crying and our Manger, Matt,  came over.

"Okay everyone I'm sorry but (y/n) needs to go and help her daughter so she can't take anymore pictures with you or give autographs." Mqtt gave me the okay to go before Bre took me to Adora.

Adora was burning up, but was so pale, much paler than her normal skin color.

"Bre call the healers now." She nodded and called them then went to get Amity.

Samuel and Luis looked scared. Of course I was too.

Amity came running into the room.

When the healers came, I knew that what was going on couldn't be fixed with magic, just by the look the gave me.

"We don't know what to do, sorry." They left and I felt my legs give in.

"We have to go to the human realm." Amity says to me.

"No you stay here Amity. Stay with Samuel and Bre. This is a human matter."

"Yeah well guess what, she's my daughter to, and your my wife, I mean fiancé. So this is a family matter." I sighed and gave in.

Once we got to the human realm I took Adora to the emergency room. After hearing her symptoms they quickly took her in. Amity finally got to the hospital with my parents. Bre and Samuel came with us as well worried about their sister. I was sitting down I placed my hands on my stomach, my baby girl Abora. I started crying, Amity pulled me onto her lap and rubbed my back as I cried.

My parents were keeping Samuel busy. Bre was getting drinks and food for us.

"Mother of Adora Blight." Me and Amity both stood up. "Mothers" He said before waving us to follow.

"Your daughter, lucky will be fine. But the bad news is she has early symptoms of cancer, after doing more testing on her."

"How is that fine!?" I yelled at him. Amity held me close to her.

"My daughter has cancer, she could die and you say she'll be fine?!" I ran outside leaving my family wondering why I left in a hurry. I started crying heavily and kept crying till I heard footsteps.

"Oh (y/n) you could've avoided this whole thing, if you loved me back." I heard before I cloth was put over my mouth and nose, causes me to black out.

Amity's pov:

I walked outside and saw someone with a smirk on his face, I saw him open a portal back to my world before walking through... holding a passed out (y/n). I started to run to him but he closed the portal. I ran back into the hospital.

"Bre, Samuel come here." They came to me.

"I need you the stay with your grandparents, I don't care which one."

"Grandma!" They both said at the same time, I tried to hold back my laughter but I couldn't, I pulled myself together. I handed them the bag I bring whenever I have to be here for a long time. "Your magic will get weak the more you use it here. Take one of those positions whenever it gets to weak. Now I need to talk to your grandma." I kissed both of their foreheads.

"(M/n) I need you to watch Bre and Samuel, also keep a eye on Adora to make sure she doesn't get worse. Tell the doctors to do whatever they can to make sure the cancer doesn't get worse." She nodded with tears in her eyes.

"Amity what's going on?" She asked me.

"(Y/n) was kidnapped. I got there to late, I need to find her." I left leaving the hospital. I opened a portal and headed back to my world.

I'm really sorry about me taking so long to get this out and for how short it is. Again thank you to Dini6621 for giving me the idea for this chapter and the next chapter. Also thank you for everyone who asked me if I was okay. It really made me feel like I wasn't just the author of the books you read. Anyways I'll try to get another chapter out. I also started a new book (shoto todoroki x fem reader) it's called Red Means I Love You.
