Chapter 4

"We dated for a little while, I was a sophomore and he was a senior. He was already rally racing when RJ and he met. His navigator quit on him and asked RJ for a navigator. So, the following night, RJ brought me with her to the race that both were in. RJ let us date but kept it a secret from you. So, its fine." Tessa said about our history. "You four knew of this," Cade asked Sunstreaker, Shockwave, Soundwave and I. Shockwave shook his head for an answer. "Only Sunstreaker, Soundwave, Sideswipe and I knew of them dating because Soundwave was there when Shane asked for a navigator. Sunstreaker was there when both Shane and I won the race. I got help to get them to date by having them go on a blind date with each other without them or you knowing." I said to Cade. 

"Everyone but you approved of us dating." Tessa continued as everyone that was there nodded our heads. "No, it's not fine." Cade said, pointing to us. "We've got a pre-existing juvenile foundational relationship. Statute two-seven-zero-five dash three." Shane said lifting a piece of paper with the Romeo and Juliet law on it. "What? Texas statute? Is that a real law." Cade asked out loud. A round of 'yes' and 'yep' from everyone in replied to the question. "Romeo and Juliet, huh? You know how those two ended up?" Cade asked Shane and Tessa. "In love." Tessa said, looking at Cade. "Dead. Do your parents know about this? Is your dad okay with you dating a seventeen year-old girl." Cade asked Shane questions. "He took off when I was five, but if I ever bump into him, I'll ask him." Shane said about his dad.

"You know, Tessa, I trusted you. And RJ does your dad approve of your relationship with whoever you're with." Cade said/asked Tessa and I. "Yes, my dad knows who I have a relationship with. I'm engaged to the two frontliners who happened to be on my team." I said about Sunstreaker and Sideswipe. Cade looked shocked now knowing that I have two fiancés instead of one. But he looked at Tessa when she started to speak. "To what? Never have fun, take a risk, be a normal teenager, like you." Tessa said getting snippy. "I am your father, okay? And I have busted my ass to take care of you." Cade replied to Tessa. "Cade I didn't know my father until the fight in Egypt when I died with my brother Sam. I went years without knowing who my father was or what I truly was. So give Tessa a break when it comes to guys she dates. She needs to learn and take risks like we did." I said to Cade who was silent throughout my talk. 

"Is that what you were doing when you brought home the truck? All you had to do was report it, and now Lucas is dead, and my life is over. Thank you, you're taken a real good care of me." Tessa yelled at him and walking out of the station. "They were willing to kill her." Cade said sadly about Tessa dying. "And they still are." Shane said about cemetery wind. I noticed Cade lifting a drone I didn't see him grab. "Somebody somewhere gave that order. I'm gonna find some fingerprints." Cade said about the person. "RJ and Soundwave can hack the drone for you Cade." Sunny said about the drone. "Could you two do that?" Cade asked Soundwave and I. Soundwave and I looked at each other thinking about it. "We can do that, but we have to be in our Bot forms to do it." I said to Cade about Soundwave and I doing it. "Ok, let's do it." Cade said about it. 

Sunstreaker, Shockwave, Soundwave, Shane, Cade and I went outside so Soundwave and I could transform. Once, we did, we started to hack the drone, then a video popped up of Ratchet being killed and I screamed in shock. Sunstreaker pulled the cords off me as Shockwave pulled the cords of Soundwave. "RJ, are you ok." Sunny asked me as I started to cry with the memory of Ratchet getting killed. "They killed him, Sunny. They killed Ratchet." I cried about Ratchet. Sunstreaker pulled me into his arms for a soothing hug. "Who's Ratchet?" Tessa asked who came back and standing between Shane and Cade. "Ratchet was the doctor for both groups of Autobots. He was like a grandfather to RJ and he taught her everything about Cybertron and the war. Whoever had that drone killed Ratchet. Optimus wouldn't be happy to know his friend died because of humans." Sunstreaker said to Shane, Cade and Tessa.
