-when you accidentally make it clear to him that you're shy and nervous around him, he wants you to feel comfortable around him and be able to speak to him or be affectionate with him, so when you're so blatantly shy, it does really get to him, especially as he's very shy himself but he's even managed to feel super comfortable around you because you're just that close to each other.
-when you subtly slide in features of yourself that you don't like into conversations, and as you're mid talking to him, it's not like he can cut you off and tell you how beautiful and perfect you are.
-when he catches you looking at guys in public when he's talking to you, it's very rare you do this as most of the time your attention is completely on him, but there's even times where it may seem like you're looking at another guy, when in fact you're just staring into the distance.

-when you turn down food he gives you, especially if he's cooked it himself, it leaves him a little disheartened knowing you won't accept his food, but not only that, it makes him think, what if you're rejecting his food because you're worried about your weight or body image.
-when you overly apologise, it makes him sad knowing you always feel you should say sorry, like everything you're saying or doing is wrong, he wants you to feel confident in what you're saying but instead every thing you say seems to be not okay.
-when you overwork yourself, whether that be with your job, exercising, or simply your hobbies, he wants you to get enough rest and free time for the basic things like watching youtube or listening to music, as he doesn't want you to put too much stress on yourself.

-when you go on your phone when you're with him, especially if he's talking to you but you're too focused texting someone, that's when he'll point it out and get super upset, jealous that someone else has your attention instead of him.
-when you stare in the mirror with a sad looking face, he knows you aren't the most confident with your body so even when you simply stare in the mirror for too long, he instantly knows you're thinking bad of yourself, so he'll pull you away and look you in your eyes as he tells you how beautiful you are.
-when he sees you fidgeting alot, like biting your nails or tapping your foot repeatedly, he knows you're overthinking or stressing about something, yet every time he asks you, you defend yourself, telling him you're completely fine even though he knows you're not.

-when you look like you're about to speak but then hold it in, or when you begin telling him something serious but then carry on with something silly or an excuse to change the topic, it makes him feel like he's not good enough as a person for you to speak to and as if you're afraid to tell him things.
-when he wants to buy you clothes and other things you want but you refuse for him to buy it for you because it's too expensive in your eyes, you're worth so much to him and he wants to spoil the fuck out of you, so when you turn things down because you don't want him to spend so much money on you, it makes him a little sad knowing you don't think so highly of yourself and that you're not worth too much.
-when you hesitate on giving him affection, like hesitating to give him cuddles because of nerves of getting rejected.

-when you quickly stop laughing because you're insecure of your smile/laugh, or you're worried that you're laughing too much, he loves your smile and laugh, so when you feel so disgusted of something so pretty, it really does get him down.
-when you stutter when talking to him, it makes him upset knowing you may feel intimidated by him or scared to say whatever's on your mind, he wants to hear it all, but when you're so shy, it breaks his heart knowing you get nervous to talk to him.
-when you wear oversized hoodies and baggy clothes on sunny days, it really gets him thinking what's underneath which you're not telling him, or how you may be feeling insecure of your body, there's not much he can do to help besides compliment you and hope it makes you feel a little less bad about yourself, and that absolutely breaks his heart.
