Katherine and Peter had not had a chance to sleep in the next day. Instead they were woken up by a very flushed Darla who told the two that Edmund and Sir Fox had called an emergency meeting. They had exchanged a very serious look before excusing Darla and quickly getting up. Katherine had felt very sore and although they joked about it their smiles couldn't quite reach their eyes. Narnia was in another war.

When they got to the throne room they were relieved to see most of the Narnia nobility already seated, most had obviously stayed the night because of the wedding. Peter and Katherine took their seats with their crowns shining on their heads.

Peter had given her the crown sometime the night before and made her try it on. She felt her ears turn pink a bit at remembering his words.

"I want to know how it feels to make love to a High Queen"

Shaking her head slightly they waited for Susan and Lucy to join. Each crown was made with a specific design for each ruler. Lucy's was silver - designed with laurel leaves and yarrow flowers made to show her victorious nature as well as healing and love. Edmunds was also silver and made of birch leaves symbolizing a new beginning and growth.

Susan's crown was gold and designed with daffodils which symbolize purity and rebirth and mountain ash leaves which symbolize strength and power. Peter's crown, also made with gold, was apple leaves which symbolize future happiness, oak leaves which symbolize wisdom, honor and strength as well as a sun.

Katherine's crown was also gold and intricately designed with rowan leaves, a symbol of courage, wisdom and protection. As well as, sprays of white dogwood which symbolize loyalty and kindness and pink cherry blossoms which symbolize spring but even deeper into their original meaning they tie in with 'bushido' the way of the warrior that symbolizes discipline, respect and honor. Finally a crescent moon was also adorned on the crown.

Katherine moved her mind from the crowns as the throne room doors opened once more and Susan came in with Lucy, the two seated themselves on their thrones and Peter announced that the meeting was in session.

It was decided that Katherine, who was originally going to accompany Susan and Corin to Calormen was now joining Peter with the main forces of the army to fight the Northern Giants. Meanwhile Edmund would join the group to Narnia as their protection. Lucy would remain at Cair Paravel to continue the running of the Kingdom. Both Peridan and Tumnus would also depart with the royals to Tashbaan as part of the embassy as Katherine's trust in Rabadash was very little.

When the meeting finally ended the army was summoned immediately. Katherine and Peter moved off to their room to change into their armor whilst two stable boys tacked their horses. Katherine sighed as she finished braiding her hair into a french braided half pony. Then she attached her chest plate and began to adjust the straps. When she and Peter were finished they began to exit the room. Peter sheathing Rhindon into it's scabbard that was attached to his hip whilst Katherine sheathed her twin blades behind her back.

When they reached the training arena the army was ready for them. They hoisted themselves up onto their steeds and Katherine un sheathed her blades from behind her. Lifting her left hand to the sky she yelled.

"We have a journey ahead of us, to our Northern borders. But the time we have to rest along the way is little. We have had eight years of peace in Narnia, now we will fight for many more to come. We have defeated many enemies and this will be no different. We fight, For Narnia!"

"For Narnia!" the soldiers echoed back in a roar.

"Let's move out!" she announced, signaling to the exit with her swords before sheathing them once more and heading for the exit, Peter by her side.
