Katherine knew as soon as they crossed the barrier, Akómi would be notified of the breach. However she did not expect the nine kidemónes that were waiting to greet them at their arrival. As the boat's hull kissed the white sands, Katherine was greeted by an overwhelming urge to retreat. Runes such as ice, spiraling darkness, darts that hovered in the air, and an ominous deep blue gas. Each hooded figure except one held some form of a rune, ready to aim.

Katherine held both her hands up in surrender as she got out the boat. Trying to scan the identical hoods for a familiar face she got out the boat slowly. A hood tilted their head towards the boat, to gesture that he wanted Peter to get out too. Katherine slowly kneeled, hands still raised as she spoke.

"He's the reason I'm here. My name is Katherine the High Queen of Narnia, I was brought here by Aslan a few weeks ago, although it has probably been a few months since for you. Please my husband, he needs healing, I beg of you to spare and save his life."

Then suddenly one of the kidemónes, the one who had not been holding a rune pulled their hood back to reveal a familiar face. She steppe forward past the others t stand before Katherine.

"Years actually" Odele replied before turning back to her people, "Keanu, please move His Majesty into the palace."

A hooded figure on the left moved forward and with his hands out Peter's body levitated off the boat. As the kidemónes began to return to the castle Odele yanked Katherine up from the ground. Fierce eyes met hers as she turned to face Odele. She seemed to be in a lot of pain.

"You betrayed our trust and told others of our secret, for this you must pay with your life." Upon seeing Katherine trying to talk she held up her hand and suddenly Katherine's voice disappeared.

"Hold your tongue, you may plead your case upon your trial but for now you will be treated as guilty. Your voice will be returned to you before your testimony"

With nothing else to say, she turned her head away and led Odele lead her to a darker part of the palace. To keep Peter safe she had to bide her time. Let them do what they wanted, otherwise anything she did do displease them would result in Peter's healing being discarded.

Somewhere along the hallway to where Katherine assumed she would reside, thundering footsteps began to echo. They drew closer and closer until a curly mop of dark hair came into sight. Odele groaned and halted her movements as the person easily caught up in breathy pants. Kyros peeked up at her and Katherine's eyes widened in surprise.

The little twelve year old she had once visited was now a man of maybe nineteen in age. However, Kyros' mischievous gleam in his eyes remained an unaged trait that made him familiar to her.

"I won't let you lock up Katherine. She didn't have anywhere else to bring him and it's just the two of them. If we get them to swear on their lives-"

"It's no use Ky, you know how Althea works, it will be a miracle if she even tries to heal the High King instead of killing him on the spot."

Kyros noticed Katherine's pupils blowing out in fear as she gave him a pleading glance.

"Don't worry! I'll come help you, I won't let them kill you" He reassured her but Katherine gave a warm smile at the boy who she still saw as the same little kid from her first visit. Then she slowly shook her head at him, her voice still unable to function due to Odele's rune. She gave him a gentler look and he suddenly understood.

"Don't worry then!" He smiled as he began to back away in the hall, running towards the main palace, "I will convince Althea for you, I'll save that husband for you! I promise"
