Author's Note: If I've learned one thing as a creative person, it's this. Inspiration can come when you least expect it. I started putting the pieces of this story together about a week ago after I watched Seventeen's "Call Call Call" music video for the first time (which, funnily enough, premiered on this very day, at least over here), and after giving it some thought, settled on this.

But this is NOT a fanfic.

The characters in this story are completely original and have nothing to do with the members. I had to go on random name generator websites to get the names for the people in this story. The characters also live in countries where English is a major language because I myself only speak English.

With that being said, here's the first chapter.

"I need your thumb for this one too."

Not even bothering to turn her head, Audrey sighed in frustration and pressed her thumb into the clear pad. The faint hum from the pad let her know that her approval of god-knows-what was now complete.

"I thought I told you not to bother me for at least—"

She looked down at her black wristwatch as 15:01 appeared on it in digital green neon numbers.

"Another hour. What does my aunt want with these anyway?"

The young woman standing beside her chuckled lightly.

"She has a new project planned. This one will be bigger than all of our previous projects."

Audrey rolled her eyes.

"She always says that."

She tapped her fingers on the desk briefly and turned to look up at the woman.

"How long do you think it'll take for her to get bored with this project before it even starts?"

"Well, that dep—"

"I wasn't looking for an answer, Valerie."

"Right."

Valerie nodded once and turned around to leave, but remained standing in the same spot.

Audrey sighed heavily at her lack of movement.

"What did she say this time?" she asked as she brought her hand up to look at her nails.

Valerie turned around and bit her lip, as if contemplating whether or not she should say anything.

Audrey looked up and saw the look on her face.

"Hey."

She snapped her fingers in front of her.

"Val, come on. What'd she say?"

"She has plans for a very...unusual project," she managed to get out.

Audrey made a tsk sound with her mouth.

"Big plans I'm sure," she said with a hint of sarcasm in her voice.

Valerie quickly leaned down and whispered in her ear before she could protest.

Audrey scoffed.

"Well, it's original. I'll give her that, at least."

Valerie brought herself back up.

"But you can't tell your aunt that I told you. If she knew—"

"Relax, Valerie. I won't say a thing."
