Author's Note: Real fans will remember when Audrey's biggest issue in chapter one was money.

Yeah, I changed that line, lol. It didn't make sense anymore, so I had to do it.

In other news, I had a difficult time finishing this chapter, but at least I got it done.

Enjoy.

The Jikan'teki ōra's light burned into the eyes of everyone as they all stared at it for a few more seconds.

Suddenly, Theo realized something.

"Wait. Hang on. Isn't 'teki' something like 'danger' in Japanese?" He asked Adam.

"Yeah, he muddled the translation a bit. But the name still works," Adam replied, leaning on the railing with his right elbow, while his left hand rested on the other side, supporting him.

Liam walked close to the two of them and pointed at the white light of the Jikan'teki ōra.

"So time travel exists because of this Jikee— Uh..."

He furrowed his eyebrows slightly.

"You can call it the 'big white light' if you're having trouble saying it," Audrey informed Liam helpfully.

"Thanks. So, this," he gestured toward the light by opening up both of his palms.

"This white light is what we saw underneath our bikes when the engine started?"

"What are you talking about?" Jack asked him.

Liam looked around at the others in his group seriously.

"None of you fellas remember the white light that showed up when Keegan's bike started up?"

"No," Drew replied.

"That wasn't a priority," Jack said.

"I was too scared," Keegan replied back quietly.

Liam looked to Cliff for reassurance, but he just raised his eyebrows, which told Liam all he needed to know about his take on it.

"That's a good eye though," Audrey said thoughtfully.

Liam grinned at her compliment.

"The Jikan'teki ōra is an energy that our grandpa accidentally brought back with him on a space trip that he took as a kid. At least, that's what he always told us," Adam explained, nodding toward Audrey.

Elias crossed his arms.

"Blimey. A white light that lets people time travel. Now, I've seen everything."

"No, not everything. Not just yet," Audrey corrected him.

Audrey and Adam led everyone to an area just to the left of the phone and camera labs. It featured a dark gray wall, with a plain, lighter gray door with a number pad above a black entry door handle.

Audrey pushed in a code, and after a few seconds, a beep was heard, then a click.

Audrey opened the door where a light gray hallway could be seen.

She left the door open while Adam ushered everyone inside, and once they all were, she closed the door behind her.

As they all started to walk a little bit, Darin turned around and noticed that the other side of the door had no doorknob at all, just the door.
