Author's Note: Who cares about timing between updates when only two people are reading this story (shout out to my one follower).

Anyway, this chapter is long, and descriptions are hard.

~*February 24th, 2786*~

Athena stood firm with her hands behind her back as she looked at all the young men before her.

"Look at you all. You must be speechless. Rest assured, as the C-E-O, I—"

A slight snicker came from Audrey.

"Do you have something to say, honey?" Athena said with an oddly shaped grin on her face.

"You know 'C-E-O' has a different meaning in their time periods, right auntie?"

Athena blinked her eyes at Audrey slowly, never taking the grin off her face.

Then she looked back at others once more.

"Anyhoo, now that we've greeted you, I'm not gonna waste any more time and just be blunt. Jikanime Motori Inc is a time travel company, and it's currently the 24th of February, 2786."

Andre widened his eyes and looked over at Darin and Morgan, who seemed just as shocked as he was.

"I'm sorry if this feels overwhelmingly dramatic," Athena began calmly.

"But he—," she tilted her head over at Jared who had suddenly lost his shocked expression and was now standing with his hands on his hips.

"—insisted on riling your group up a bit," she finished with a glance toward Darin.

Audrey brought her tense shoulders down and sighed with relief.

Jared took his glasses off, and put them on top of his head.

"Yeah, nice acting back there by the way, J. You almost had me going there," Audrey complimented him, slightly impressed.

"Thanks, Aud," he said with a laugh.

He walked over to her and touched her shoulder with his hand.

"It's good to see you again."

"You haven't changed a bit, you know."

"Aw, thanks—"

"Wait a second!" Andre interrupted their weird reunion.

Jared turned his head toward him and lifted his eyebrows calmly.

"You...You're not..."

"I'm not what, Andre?" Jared said as he dropped his hand from Audrey's shoulder.

"You're not a vlogger?!"

"Of course, I'm a vlogger."

"Then how the hell do you know these people?" Darin asked him suspiciously.

"Yeah, I'd like to know that too," Morgan said as he crossed his arms.

"Okay, look. Before you all collectively lose your shit, it's like this. Last year, Jikanime announced a brand new project, and I was chosen to go back in time to 2014 to scout potential recruits for the project."

He began rubbing his chin with his hand.

"I spent so long trying to find a fitting group, but I could never find anyone. But by that time, I had already grown to like the old world and you Ancients, so I decided to stay. Fast forward through some traveling and cooking lessons, I decided to become a vlogger. And then I discovered the one and only Morgan Morita through his little films."
