Author's Note: Okay, so I'm writing about a time that doesn't exist, and won't exist for 140 years. That means I get to go crazy, ha ha.

I'm rubbing my hands together like a movie villain right now (not really, but I am doing it mentally).

^ I wrote the above a month ago, and well...ha ha. To be honest, I procrastinated a bit with this chapter because I put way too much unnecessary pressure on myself regarding this time period. But I pushed myself to write this chapter and just get it done. Because anything is better than "perfection" or nothing.

So let's continue.

The underground train slowly came to a stop, humming slightly as it stopped on the track.

A light chime was heard.

"Thank you for riding the sonic tube. You have reached your destination. Please proceed to the nearest exit."

The people inside the sonic tube began moving toward the exit as the robotic announcement repeated the last part on a loop, and among them, was a young man, who started to nudge his way past everyone.

"Pardon me."

"Hey!"

"Sorry."

He bumped into another person as he tried to move past.

"Watch it, mate."

He kept pushing through until he finally made it to the exit.

He stepped off the train, making sure to watch the gap, and onto the loading area.

He sighed.

Afterward, he took his hand out of his pocket and looked at the time on his white wristwatch.

"Damn!"

Elias stepped through the entrance and looked up to find a white neon sign with the words "21st Century Cafe" on it hovering above his head.

"Eli!"

He looked down and saw a woman sitting on a stool at the bar, which was to the left and right of the area.

She waved at him and he waved back.

He then watched as a robot server on the other side of the bar slammed a jug of something down next to the woman with its arm, which caused her to jump.

"Jesus!" she exclaimed.

Taking advantage of the opportunity, he dashed forward until the bar area disappeared and he was met with an area consisting of navy blue tables and booths, along with a gray tiled floor that turned neon white every time someone stepped on them.

As he continued to walk through the dining area, people in colorful clothes chatted happily among themselves all while sipping milkshakes and potato snacks.

He looked at the far corner of the room and spotted three young men sitting at one of the tables that were placed in front of a large round stage.

He began to walk toward them.

The robot jukebox zoomed around the edge of the stage, then it made a faint clicking sound. The robot jukebox then moved to the middle, after which, a hologram of seven young men in various dark outfits inspired by traditional Korean hanbok clothing appeared on the stage. The one in the middle, who was in a ponytail, began to move and music began to play while the others soon followed.
