A/N - I am SO SORRY I forgot to update! :( I feel really guilty, and I'll try to post a double chapter to make it up to you guys! Don't forget to comment with the next destination for the Ghost Hunter's! Oh, and Naru and Mai only heard half of the Night Four phonecall... so they don't know what happened to phone-guy yet. Umm....that's it I guess. Enjoy!

Night 5

11:00 p.m.

"Hey Naru?"

"Yes Mai?"

What do you think the animatronics will say this time?" Mai asked softly. Her eyes roamed the office space, too embarrassed from last night's cuddle-fest to look Naru in the eye.

"I don't know..." Naru said thoughtfully, pulling the corner of one of the tables closer to him.

Nau and Mai sat on the floor, surrounded by barricades - desks, chairs, and tables - creating a makeshift fort in case the animatronics got through the doors. It was a crappy fort, after all it was just desks and chairs strategically placed to hide the ghosthunters, but allow them to still check cameras and press the door locks without feeling exposed and paranoid.

And it saved their life.

"So.... How are you?" Mai asked.

Naru chuckled. "Just peachy. And you?"

"Oh I'm great." Mai said with a smirk. "What time is it now?"

"11:50," Naru stated. "I wonder what that phone guy will tell us this time?"

"Maybe he'll tell us that this is all a prank and the animatronics are harmless?" Mai said wistfully.

"Be serious Mai. We need to stay focused. I me-" Naru was interrupted by a jarring phone-ring.

"He's early!" Mai said shocked.

"Mai, that was my cellphone," Naru explained coolly. "It's probably just Lin giving me an update on the baby."

"Ooooh how is little Akira?" Mai scooted closer to try and catch a glimpse of Naru's phone-screen.

"She's fine Mai. If I were you I'd worry about the impending doom instead of a baby perfectly safe in her father's arms," Naru muttered.

"Yeesh, I just was hopping for a little distraction," Mai replied.

"Mai this is life or death, we can't afford to get distracted," Naru hissed.

"Well sorry - "

"Riiiinnng Riiinggg!"

"Oh, god that scared me!" Mai said with a gasp. Naru chuckled before picking up the phone and putting it in the makeshift fort.

But all that came out of the phone was garbling metallic talk.

"Wha-N- Naru I..... that's the.... that's the p-phonecall from m-my dream!" Mai stuttered, horrified.

"What the heck is happening? Were's the phone-guy?" Naru spat.

"I don't know!" Mai retorted.

"Check the call from last night then. I want to know what happened to him," Naru commanded.

While Naru started to flip through the cameras, Mai fiddled with the phone. When she finally found the voicemail from the previous night, they listened in stunned silence as the phone-guy got attacked.

"Oh." Naru said simply.

"Oh, indeed." Mai added.

.....

"Bonnie's missing," the narcissist said suddenly.

"That didn't sound right. He couldn't have died. Think about it. I mean, at least someone would have mentioned that phone-guy died. And, what was that song?" the brunette continued, not caring that Bonnie had escaped.

"Chica's gone, too," the head ghosthunter added.

"Hmm..... Mike told me Freddy plays a melody when your power runs out.... and that was the sound of an animatronic killing. So.... it's safe to assume the phone-guy's power ran out, and he was killed by Freddy!" Mai said with a grin, proud to have came to such a smart conclusion.

"One flaw with your plan Mai. How could the phone conversation keep going if the power ran out? The phone couldn't record anything without power," Naru deadpanned, crushing his assistant's pride.

"Yeah, I forgot about that," Mai muttered sadly.

"MAI SHUT THE DOOR!" Naru shouted.

"AHHH! WHICH DOOR!" Mai flailed.

"LEFT LEFT LEFT!"

"OKAY!"

"Come play with me! Let's play Hide-and-seek!" Bonnie said, reaching towards the two ghosthunters.

"Rather not!" Mai slammed the door shut.

"Where's Chica?" the brunette asked fearfully, pressing up against Naru to see the screen.

"The hallway," Naru said, but he was blushing slightly.

"Wait a minute!" Mai exclaimed, noticing the slight pink on her boss's cheeks. "Why are you blushing?"

"I have no idea what you're talking about, I do not 'blush'," Naru said coolly.

"You totally just blushed!" Mai accused, grinning.

"Let's eat kiddo's!" Chica reached for the two ghosthunters.

"Oh shut up!" They said in usion before Mai slammed the other door shut.

"Annyyyway, why were you blushing mister!" Mai opened the left door, since Bonnie had wandered off.

"It was a simple trick of the light Mai, no need to make such a big deal out of it," Naru rolled his eyes.

"Was not," Mai muttered.

"Was too," Naru said in a sing-song voice.

"Was not."

"Was too."

"Was not."

"Was too."

"Was not."

"Foxy's peeking out of the cove," Naru informed, breaking out of the argument to search the cameras.

"How much power do we have left?" Mai asked.

"46%"

"What time is it?"

"3:00" Naru deadpanned.

"Crap. We're loosing too much power!" Mai checked the hall lights to find Bonnie smiling in the doorway.

"Hide-and-seek! You hide, and I'll seek!" Bonnie sounded unusually childish and eager - his outstretched hand looked almost friendly.

"Umm.... maybe later...." Mai said softly.

"Okay!" Bonnie said, before skipping down the hallway.

"What the heck just happened?" the brunette asked, bewildered.

"Shut the door!" Naru warned.

But Mai was too late.
