A/N- My goodness I am soooo late with this chapter! I appologize and I promise I will publish more frequently! Also, this chapter flip-flops between Mai and Naru. Oh, and I may post fanart of this fanfic on somewhere.... yeah..... I'm almost done with the pictures but I have no idea how to get them on the interwebs! So if you guys know of some website where I can post my pictures, feel free to give me a comment! Also, if you notice, I am very cruel to Bonnie because I hate that ^&#*@^ (She's the reason I kept losing night 5!) And don't judge if I particularlly single out Foxy, because it's gonna make sense later.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~DAY 1 - Afternoon
Naru's P.O.V.
As we pulled up to Freddy Fazbears, Naru could see why this place was unpopular. The building itself was slowly starting to deteriorate, and you could definatly see evidence of harsh weather and a lack of upkeep. Oddly enough, the parking lot was packed despite the shabby exterior.
While all the other ghosthunters, minus Yasu and Madoka, started unloading the gear, Naru and Mai decided to check in with the owner of the pizzaria. Mai looked pale and scared senseless, but she strode through the doors with her head held high. I wonder what had happened here that is causing Mai so much fear? For that matter, I wonder if she has had expiriences with these "haunted animatronics" .
Naru suddenly felt a psychic yank, and casually scanned the room for the spirit that was messing with him. His eyes found the three animatronics singing onstage. That is where the bulk of the disturbance is comming from. There was a vibrant yellow chicken with a bib and unusually humanlike teeth in her beak, an obnoxious-looking purple bunny with tall ears and a friendly grin, and the creepiest dang brown bear Naru had ever seen. Naru would never admit it out loud, but that bear is scarier than Lin in the morning. Wait, did I just make a joke? Focus Kazuya, this is no time for messing around. He went back to scanning the room, searching for any other disturbances. Naru spotted a room labled "Pirate's Cove", and decided that he would investigate that one later.
Mai and Naru made their way through the crowds of children, bumping into one another and many other annoyed parents. After muttering an appology for the fifteenth time, they had finally reached the end of the main room, and they gratefully stepped into the empty hallway.
"Ugh. I don't know why so many people are here," Mai spat. "If the animatronics are 'haunted', than less people would show up, right? I mean, most people would notice if people suddenly die!" Mai looked both furious and terrified, and Naru had to wonder what had happened to make Mai's emotions go crazy.
"Well, what if the animatronics only move at night," Naru pondered. "It would make sense. The nightguard is the person affected the most, and all of the kids come during the day, which would also mean that the people who break in at night, or work nightshifts must have stories that fit Mr. Schmidt's. And then there is the fact that the newspaper has probably covered up most of the murders that had happened here, maybe even by request of the manager. If anything this just proves that either Mr. Schmidt is lying, or this is way bigger than we thought."
"Oh, he's not lying," Mai said softly. "I know for a fact that the anamatronics are to blame. My question is why? Why do the anamatronics kill all the tresspassers? Why is this place so popular? Why didn't Mr. Schmidt quit as soon as the hauntings occur?"
"All good points. For now lets just talk to the owner and get set up. I want cameras onstage, in that cove, and in the hallways. If the owner mentions any other rooms that had seemed acitve, place some cameras there, too." Naru said, and with that they had opened the door to the office. The manager, who was shuffling through papers, looked up when Naru and Mai came in.
"You the ghosthunters?" the Manager asked.
"Yes, my name is-" Naru started.
"I don't care what your name is! Just get Mike back to work! He's my best security guard and I can't loose him to some stupid 'spirits'!" the Manager complainded, rather rudely, before going back to shuffling through his papers.
"Can you tell us the main rooms where the animatronics are active?" Naru said, as if he were dealing with a stubborn child instead of a grown man.
"Mike will tell you," the Manager said without looking up.
"See? That was all we needed. Next time, start with that," Naru said with a smirk before walking out the door. Mai, who was less thoughtful, stuck her tounge out at the man and called him some inappropriate names.
"Ugh... I hate people like that," Mai said furiously.
"Yes I am well aware Dummy. Let's focus on getting back to the security office, unless you're incapable of doing even that," Naru said with a grin.
"OF COURSE I AM CAPABLE OF GOING TO THE SECURITY OFFICE! WHAT AM I A KID?!?!" Mai shouted.
"Well, considering the fact that you're having a temper tantrum like one, I can see how people can't tell the difference," Naru retorted. As they made their way back through the large crowd of kids, they kept bickering. What they didn't notice were the eyes of the animatronics following their movements.
A/N - Day One will be a different chapter from the First Night, but the rest of the days/nights will be in the same chapters. Also, I plan on having a lot of fun with this. And I know Mike get's fired in the games but in this fanfiction he's not gonna be fired.
