I woke up a second time but when I opened my eyes I wasn't met with the boys laughing and holding a camera. It was just Benny and I. It felt perfect. I felt a hand brush my hair over, so it wasn't in my eyes. I turned over to face the tan boy. "Hi" I said simply with a smile on my face. He smiled back with glee "Hi, so uh your brother and the picture?" "No, not a story for right now." I laughed "But you said "later"! "And you'll have to wait a little longer Benny boy!" He scoffed at my answer and got up. The clock in the clubhouse said it was noon. "We better go, I'm guessing the guys are at the Palace. We can pick them up and go to the sandlot. " Benny said. The Palace was an arcade next to Vincent's Drug store, it was a quite popular place but we as a whole group never really get to go since we're always at the sandlot. Benny and I climbed down and made our way to the arcade. As suspected there they were in all their glory. Yelling as Squints and Kenny were playing Street Fighter, neither of them showing any sign of mercy for their friend. Benny and I ran up and watched the screen in anticipation. "Hey bet ya $5 Kenny's gonna win!" I said turning to Yeah-Yeah. "Y/n we both know you and Yeah-Yeah don't have $5." Smalls declared. "Yeah Yeah Smalls may be right, but your on y/n!" "Hear that DeNunez I got $5 on you, don't let me down!" The arcade was filled with Kenny and Squints slamming down on buttons and yanking the controller  in every direction, mixed with the rest of us yelling. Squints was consetrating so hard on winning that he didn't realize his glasses were slipping off his nose. Bertram then shoved Ham over causing Ham to fall over on top of Squints. The young boy regained his balance but his glasses didn't, that shit fell off his head. Kenny was so close to victory he could taste it, he saw his chance and took it. He got close to Smalls avatar and round housed him, causing Kenny to win! "YES BITCHES GUESS WHO AINT A BROKE BITCH NO MORE!" I yelled. "What the shits going on?!" Smalls asked trying to find his glasses. "I just got $5 thanks to you Velma wanna be!" I said high fiving Kenny. I looked over to Yeah-Yeah "Pay up buttercup" I said holding out my hand. He sighed and got out a 5 dollar bill, throwing it into my hand. "Alright alright time to go to the Sandlot guys!" Benny yelled clapping his hands. Everyone packed up and headed out and to the Sandlot. When we got to the Sandlot I saw Carla with Benny's little sister Maria. Carla turned and waved at us. "Hey Y/n! Hi boys!" "Hey Mrs.Rodriguez!" I yelled waving at her. Maria had just turned 4 about 2 months ago, and already knew just about everything about baseball. Thanks to her older brother and father of course. Carla and Maria were playing catch but as soon as Maria saw Benny she dropped her glove and ran. Hey I don't blame her, I would too. "BUBBY!" (A/N yes she will be calling her brother that...I hate kids so I'm just imagining what a 4 year old would do..I hope I'm right) 

Benny opened his arms as Maria ran into him. Benny lifted his sister up and twirled her around. "Hey Mar what are you and mom doing huh?" Benny asked. "Baseball!" "Baseball huh? Well then let's see it!" Benny sat her down and Maria ran up to home plate. She picked up her blue bat and got ready. Carla nodded her head as if to ask her if she was ready without even saying anything. Maria nodded back and Carla pitched the ball to her daughter. Maria just like her brother hit the ball with a cracking noise and took off running. Carla, the boys, and I shouting words of encouragement to Maria. Her little legs carrying her from base to base. Benny and I ran off to go hype up Maria on that amazing hit. Maria went and hugged me having not noticed I was there from all the excitement. "Y/n did you see that?! Did ya?!" She asked happily. "Yeah! Yeah I saw that! That was amazing Maria!" I said matching her energy. "Hey between you and me girlie you were better than your brother here. But don't tell him that!" I said winking. "Hey!" Benny said.
