When Foster left, Keefe rushed up to his room and started journaling and doodling in his brown notebook. Until Ro came in. "Hey, Hunkyhair." "Hi, Ro." Keefe seemed distant.

Ro shook him a bit by the shoulders. "Hey! Earth to Funkyhair!" "Yeah? What?" "Did something happen with Blondie?" "Um..." "Okay, so it's definitely about Blondie."

"...She kissed m-" "SHE DID?! WOW! OH MY GOSH, I'M SO HAPPY!!!! BLONDIE ISN'T OBLIVIOUS! TEAM FOSTER-KEEFE PREVAILS!!!" Keefe groaned.

"Either way, it was more of a one time thing. But... she knows... so... oh my gosh... she actually... wow..." "I'M SO PROUD OF YOU, HUNKYHAIR!"

Ro was beaming and shaking him by the shoulders. "Eeeeeek!!"

Keefe just blushed. "She really... wow. I never thought..." "She actually KISSED YOU!!" Ro was grinning from ear to ear. But that changed when Lord Gaseous walked into the room. (Still not correcting it.)

Ro's expression changed to a glare, and Keefe just tried not to breathe. "I did hear you from outside. Ro seems to be a bit more excited than I thought she would be."

"You thought?"

Ro's glare got even more intense. Keefe just looked confused for a second.

Then completely mortified.

"You were watching." It wasn't a question.

"Of course."

Ro's intenseness from the glare transferred to her arms as she pushed Lord Cassius out of the room and slammed the door. Then she plopped onto Keefe's bed.

"Funkyhair. Come on. It's not that bad, he would've heard me anyway." "It's not that." "Well then, what is it? And don't look at me like he would never have found out if I hadn't yelled. You can't keep a secret for two seconds."

"I can so! And it's just... it's like he hates me. Which he does. And whenever something good, or fun, or even just normal happens, he makes it... stink." "You think? He's Lord Gaseous. It's impossible for him not to stink."

Keefe grinned. "I'm totally calling him that." "Good. Now, since you're talking, do you want to go be yourself and actually try to annoy your dad?"

"...not really. Only my dad could make the best day of your life ruined with only two words." "Well, he didn't! Go spend some time with Blondie! Make! Fitz! Jealous!" Keefe gave her a look, but couldn't hide a small smirk.

"He's my best friend. I don't want to make him jealous." There was a beat.

"...Well, maybe it appeals a little..."

"knew it." Keefe sighed. He really didn't want to make his best friend jealous... it was just kinda part of the package.

If he found out, at least. But he really wanted to talk to Foster.

"I'm gonna go." "Alright, Hunkyhair. See ya around."
