My legs dangled under me as I was sitting on a bridge while slowly licking my ice-cream, as I savoured it's heavenly taste which made me relax from the tiring day, since I just finished the meeting of student council as I was a member of the student council of my school. Honestly I never wanted to be the part of student council since it is a job which requires hardwork, responsibility and good leadership and as I've always been a chill person so I didn't wanted to put too much effort in these things. But the thing was that i actually had a crush on the president of student council which leads me to try becoming the member of student council so I could get close to him and make him fall in love with me, and fortunately because of my good grades I managed to become the member

Even though we both only talk about school related things and are not more than acquaintances, but still my heart is filled with hope that one day our distance will vanish and we will start dating

As I kept thinking inside my head, my attention then drifted towards my ice-cream which was finished, with only the ice-cream stick remaining as I gobbbled up the icy dessert and threw away the stick in the dustbin nearby, I then again took seat at the bridge which was facing the beautiful lake at the front while it's blue water shone with the sunlight reflecting on it. I took a deep relaxing breath before my ears perked up at sound which was coming from the left direction as I vaguely climbed down from the bridge and looked at my left direction where I could see two teenagers talking. Catching the sight of blonde hair, I slowly walked towards those two until a quiet gasp left my mouth as my eyes looked at the person, who was Takeshi Harada aka the president of student council, on whom I has a crush on

My eyes then averted to the other person who had big brown eyes and I instantly recognized the person-She was Ayumi Kurahashi, the captain of the girls volleyball team. They both were talking happily to each other as I quietly moved closer to them, to listen their conversation. I knew eavesdropping is wrong but well I couldn't manage my curiosity so I listened quietly while occasionally glancing at them, just when I moved my eyes again to them, my eyes widen in shock and my heart cruched painfully in my chest as I saw them kissing each other. I gaped as no words came out of my mouth and all I could feel was sadness seeping through my entire being. I had a crush on Takeshi for so long and I even joined the student council just for him but now seeing him kissing someone else made me feel so freaking stupid as I dumbly romanticize him all this time while being unaware of his girlfriend.
As I controlled my emotions, i
casted one last look at the couple then swiftly turned around and started running towards my home while silently consoling myself to not cry over a heartbreak.

Time Skip

It's been a week since I last saw my now ex-crush and his girlfriend together. At that time I thought, moving on from him was really easy as I spent the week eating ice-creams and watching thriller TV shows to distract myself from the heartbreak but oh how wrong was I!, as it still hurts so much whenever I cross path with them during school, seeing them being affectionate towards each other provoke different reactions from my heart as one side of me awed at their love while the other side suffers in deep pain over my unrequited love. Either way it was really difficult to cope up with these emotions, even going to student council feels so emotionally exhausting whenever I hear Takeshi gush over his girlfriend ayumi

Today I walked inside the arcade to play some games and enjoy the weekend as my feet strolled around the area until I tripped on my foot and lost my balance which led me to almost fall on the floor but just then a hand wrapped around my waist while other hand grabbed my shoulder to steady on my feet as I sighed in relief that I didn't fell in front of everyone and made a fool out of myself
