The light wind caressed my cheeks slowly as I sat near the cerulean lake that shone under the bright rays of sun. I could hear the faint chirping of birds nearby, making the atmosphere calm and serene, just how I like. Closing my eyes in peace I laid down on the grassy field while the tip of my heels touched the lake water, making my legs wet in the process

"Y/n-Chan!", a familiar voice shouted my name, making my eyes involuntary open in response

Letting out an annoyed sigh, I woke up from the solace of my peace and tilted my head towards the source of voice "what do you want onii-Chan?", I asked the red haired who was grinning at me

"Hey y/n what are you doing here at the lake area?", the red haired who is also known as akira kamio replied with an excited tone as he came and sat beside me

"Just wanted some peace from my home economics club", I answered with a tired smile as the memory of today's club activities haunted my mind, making me internally exhausted

"Don't tell me you again burned the food during your club activities!", kamio shouted with a teasing tone as he flicked my forehead

I pouted at him in reply and slowly rubbed the spot where he flicked my forehead "stop teasing me! I still make good food that why I'm in home economics club" I said with a proud smile

"OK I believe you", kamio chuckled in amusement as he winked at me playfully

Ignoring his teasing I turned my head towards the lake and stared at the shimmering blue water "so why are you here?", I asked him

"Oh... I was in search of a quiet place to practice tennis since fudomine matches are coming soon, that's why I thought that this lake is a good area for practice" kamio answered as I nodded in reply "me and my friend are going to practice here for a while" he continued

I suddenly paused as I averted my gaze to kamio "Friend?....which friend?", I asked him in confusion

Kamio just smiled at me as he pointed his index finger towards a shadowy figure which I didn't noticed before "don't tell me you didn't saw shinji! He is my friend who I was talking about" he answered as he motioned his hand towards the figure to come forward

My brows knitted in confusion as I thought that why I didn't notice this guy before, I've been talking to kamio for about five minutes already and still I didn't identified a presence among us. How long was this guy standing there?. Shaking my head to clear the thoughts I looked ahead and saw a guy coming from behind a tree, he had long dark blue hair that reached his chin while his face had a pale complexion, suddenly my cheeks involuntary heated up in a blush as i took that boy's appearance

"Hey shinji ! come sit here with us", kamio excitedly called out to his friend who had a perfect poker face, as the said guy slowly walked towards us and sat beside kamio, all the while ignoring me 

I curiously peeked at the blue haired boy who was calmly looking ahead while the half of his hair covered the side of his face, making me inch closer in order to take a good look at him, and just when I moved little closer to him, he suddenly titled his head in my way and looked straight into my eyes, making me shy away as I immediately turned my head sideways from him

"Ah-my bad I didn't introduce you both", kamio piped up while being completely oblivious to our little eye-contact moment "y/n this is shinji Ibu, my friend and teammate, we both are in the same tennis team", he smiled at shinji

"Nice to meet you Ibu-san", I politely waved at him as he just nodded in greeting. Suddenly a small bubble of disappointment formed in the pit of my stomach by his half-ass greeting but I just ignored it and covered it up with a smile
